Good condition considering a very dry July and August. Starter was rather testy for being 1 minute late. Very courteous staff on course. The course is associated with a top-notch school that has zero pressure about selling new clubs to students.
White Horse Golf Club
Played On 01/17/2016Great course, even in the rain
Lots of woods to lose a ball in so a straight drive is rewarded even if not very long.
Very nice public clubhouse restaurant with a good pro shop. Head pro, Bruce Christie is a super instructor. Practice range allows hitting off of real grass turf! Convenient to the Edmunds-Kingston ferry and the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry.
White Horse Golf Club

This course is amazingly playable during the worst of the NW Rain Season! After ~2 inches of rain in 48 hours, only one green in 18 needed to be skipped because of standing water. The best time to golf is when you can. Dress for the weather and enjoy WhiteHorse!
Rolling Hills Golf Course
Played On 05/12/2015Walking around
This course is great for walking. Tees are mostly right next to the preceding green. Great mature trees to admire and hopefully avoid.

9th hole is the challenge to get up and over the hill - then going down the the other side, the challenge is not to overshoot the green into somebody's beer. Short-right has a truly nasty bunker and small forest of giant trees.
