I really enjoyed the course. There are a few elevation changes and some layup areas. Greens and bunkers were in excellent condition. There are good us of doglegs, and homes are set back from the course leaving them out of the "hitting zone". It's a very well thought out layout. I will definitely be back to see how the course plays after coming out of winter.

This course has some interesting holes and does a good job of making the flat layout challenging. Conditioning could be better, but I'm not sure if early March might be a bit early for the course to be grown in yet.

Great layout. Intimidating par threes. Fairways give plenty of room for the driver. It's a very nice course and an interesting setup.

Back nine is considerably more difficult than the front. Greens are fast, which is good, but won't accept high-lifted shots with spin. Everything rolls through. Very interesting layout though.

Greens are close to perfect. While it's a true desert course with many elevation changes, the fairways are generous. If you play back, there are forced carries, but not in any way too punitive. #18 is a real treat. I like this course better than the sister course, Lexington. A few holes have beautiful views of the city.

IT's worth coming to this course. In some ways, I felt like I was back in Western, PA. It's very "un-Florida like" . It's a fair course. Greens were in excellent condition, while the fairway and rough were just starting to come out of dormancy.

This is a very nic3e course, but I have two beefs. Conditioning when we played it was not up to standard. Grass was long on the tees and fairways, as iif the course had not been cut for days. Secondly, while it's a beautiful layout, none of the holes has a view of the lake or the mountainside directly behind it, which is a bummer, because the lake is so scenic. Even the golf hole in the photo for Rocky Gap isn't actually on the golf course. It's part of the driving range.

Has a few memorable holes with some risk/reward shots.

This is a nice course with enough tee boxes to accommodate any player skill level. While there is water on most holes, it is a fair layout that only punishes you if you make a bad swing. Hole #18 is a difficult finishing hole (as it should be!), and helps to complete the round nicely.

Even from the tips,, this course will take the driver out of your hands on at least 4 holes
Even with blind shots, the topography of the course makes it obvious where to hit the shot, and tends to bring errant shots back into play (within reason),
There are some nice views, although I prefer the Concord course and layout more.

This course, only 2 hours from Pittsburgh is a really nice layout. The course was very well maintained, with lots of elevation changes and a fair layout. Pace of play was really poor at 5 hours midday on a Friday, but there wasn't anyone marshalling groups on the course.
Staff is very friendly. Only regret is that none of the holes play along the lake or even have views of it. Not sure why they was done, but that would have made this an unforgettable layout.

This is a beautiful course with lot's of elevation changes. Greens, tees, fairways and traps are all in excellent condition. It's a fair layout that is visually difficult looking.

This course is worth a try. The first five holes are very much a traditional layout with more contemporary holes as the round goes on. There's lots of work being done on the course, and it will continue to improve. Not sure I get or understand number 16 and 17 layout.
Check in and the First Tee were a bit odd. Proshop acted like they had no idea we were coming even though we had prepaid our rounds on a GolfNow. The starter starter suggested we play the white tees even without knowing anything about our games. This is only a 6100 yard course. Most people can play the blue tees here. For what it's worth, one of the members of our foursome shot a 76. He can play any tease you want

At 6,400 yards, this course stands up. It is sneaky longer than the yardage suggests. The greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in very good shape. If you like elevation changes, this course will not disappoint.

This is one of the nicer, if not nicest courses you can play in Tucson, and I have played many courses there. It is a fair desert layout with many elevation changes and beautiful views. My only criticism is the back tees. They seem to have been put in place as an afterthought. Many are across the street, or behind greens from previous holes and often give no view whatsoever of the fairway below. If you play regular tees though, you will thoroughly enjoy this course.

This is a good track that even has a few small elevation changes. Tees, fairways, bunkers and greens were all in good shape. There is a ton of construction going on around the course, and many holes are on a major thoroughfare, so if you are looking for a quiet, serene round, it may not be for you.

This is a very nice course with enough water to make it challenging, combined with wide fairways. there are several ocean holes worth bringing your camera for. Greens were very smooth and rolled fast and true. The sand in the traps is fluffy TV sand that will take you a bit to get used to.

Royal Niagara is not for the faint of heart. The bent grass greens are very slick, but you can stop high lofted approach shots on them. The course plays harder than the yardage. There are several forced carries, pinched fairways at typical landing zones, many elevated greens and visually intimidating holes. It's and interesting layout though for a relatively flat course and I enjoyed it.
