Los Caballeros Golf Club
Played On 01/13/2021Wont make the trek again
We drove over from Vistancia due to a good $50 deal. However the condition of the course was in need of improvement. The greens were pretty sad and soggy, the fairways had to many patches of dry areas for this time of year.. We felt the drive wasn’t worth the time due to the quality of the course or lack there of. And a $10 hot dog was a bit pricey for my taste.

Put up a bad review 2 months ago, however with this heat the greens are starting to make a comeback. Played it in 4 hrs. Tee boxes, fairways are in good shape, it’s been a problem with the greens, and they are getting better as the days go by. They are keeping them a bit slow, probably to hold the moisture and to let them heal. . Staff is always friendly and will be playing this more in the future.
Rancho Manana Golf Club
Played On 06/16/2020A really nice layout, in decent shape
First time playing. We plated from the blue tees which were only 6000 yds. The greens had recently been aerated which would have been nice to know, so quite bumpy. Other than that it was a fun track.

Do not waste your time playing this track until they get a superintendent that knows what to do. I’ve played over 1000 rounds in my 40 + years, and these were the second worst greens I’ve ever putted on. The parking lot would have been better, I’ve played on temp greens that were in better shape than these. The layout is nothing memorable, good tee boxes and fairways but nothing that really stood out. They are crazy to ask for $90 green fees. The course is up for sale so they are doing as little as possible to accommodate the golfers while cutting costs. Until they figure it out, I won’t be wasting my money here, there are to many great courses than to waste 5 hrs here.

First time playing here, wasn’t expecting much from the talk around town. They were right, nothing special at all. It was probably a nice course back in the day, but has fallen on hard times. Just not a lot of attention from the maintenance staff or lack there of. It has potential, but probably not in th Ernest few years. It’s one of those courses for the people living on the course or the ones that just want to drink beer and hack around the course. It’s a $30 course. The best thing about it was the hot dog after the round. It was the first time for my neighbor also & we won’t be back...

Played On 03/02/2018Great condition from tees to greens...
We had a terrific time on the course. Great price of $35, first ones off in the am & played a round in under 3 hrs. The course has wide open fairways and is in amazing condition. Will definitely play here more often.
Vidanta Riviera Maya
Played On 12/12/2017Fun course for golfnow price only...
Being a par 3 course, it has a really nice layout with some long par 3's. Not worth the rack rate of $105. Need a coupon or golfnow to make it worthwhile. It is in really good condition, with many iguanas rooming the course. Plenty of trouble on the course, but a fair track. Enjoy & have fun, & play for what it's worth...
PGA WEST Pete Dye Dunes Course
Played On 11/09/2017Terrific outing
Played the Dunes course with an out of town friend and had a wonderful time. The course was in great shape, thanks to the maintenance staff. There are a lot of valleys off the fairways and leading up to the greens in some areas, but overall had a fun time. The only downside was cart path only. Should have been 90 degrees if anything, so that slowed play a bit.

This is a decent course, the condition could be in better shape. A lot of soggy spots on the course, yet some greens are dried out. It is a short course, so good for iron play, no need to hit anything but irons. However for what you get, it should be a $25 course, especially compared to all the standard size courses. They are talking of upping the rates even more, poor decision! Don't bother with the food there. It has a nice patio for a cold beer, but the food is horrid. The pro shop boss has finally retired after 30 yrs or so, so hopefully things will change for the better.
Hi Chase297. We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the teams in charge so they can work to make changes. Thanks for visiting Los Caballeros Golf Club. We hope to see you again in the future.
