Port Ludlow Golf Resort

Played On 03/19/2017Dry Conditions (even with all the rain)
It's been raining record amounts over the past 3 months, but this course plays dry the next morning after a heavy rain storm. It was a pleasure to play a rain soaked, dry playing course. The fairways were in great condition, and the ball actually ran after landing. The greens were recently sanded but still playable. I highly recommend this course for winter and spring conditions. I haven't played this course in the summer, but I'm sure it's even better.
Highlands Golf Course
Played On 12/26/2016Cold, Wet & Fun
It was just above freezing when I played. The greens were damp but still played fast. The course was dry and easy to walk. It's is in in great shape for winter play. My wife walked the 1.3 mile course with me to keep track of my strokes (I loose track of how many times I hit the ball sometimes....) She also enjoyed walking the course. It wasn't crowded and I could play at my pace without pressure. It's a short quick iron's course that's fun to play.
Druids Glen
Played On 12/23/2016Great Winter Course
I play year round which is sometimes painful in the Pacific Northwest. Druids Glen plays relatively dry even on a rainy day. The fairways are wide, but water comes ito play often. The problem on this course is the Elk. They are destroying the fairways and greens. Every hole has piles of Elk Dung and tracks embedded in the ground. They do a great job of filling in the Elk tracks with sand. It may not be as big of a problem in the spring and summer. Even with the Elk problem, this is a great course.
