Our 5th time playing here AND another enjoyable day at JRGC. Pace was good, Fairways and greens good. I was playing GR and my wife R. 2 of the tee boxes didn't have the painted rocks by the cart path which lead to a little confusion as our tees (we think) were well forward of the white tees. Gave "off course" a "poor" because called in order for 2 hot dogs at the turn. They were out @ 1:30pm! Said they had brats so said OK. The brats were terrible! Looked raw, no grill marks! tasted terrible! One bite and in garbage can and ate the chips!

Overseed is complete AND the course is in great shape! Fairways cut and greens rolled and fast. Enjoyed our round with 2 new friends AND my wife came within 12" of a ace on #17 Island green from the green tees! Staff is always friendly!

5th time we have played JR since moving to Merrill Ranch 10 months ago! Always enjoy playing here, especially the back 9. Staff always friendly and the food GOOD! NOW just waiting to book Christmas Day!

much confusion at checkin. I was prepaid (GolfNow) BUT counter was confused about who we/I (wife) were playing with. He kept trying to find JR. Ask for conf#. Had to go to the car get my phone. By the time all this happened he said "your up on #1! So no warmup/putting.! "JR" ended up to be the "Junior" on my last name! Oh well! enjoyed our round. Course is coming out of reseed nicely AND playing partners were nice guys!

Staff was friendly. Start delayed about 10 minutes BUT pace was a little slow but Marshal informed us of the problem AND told us group ahead was only playing 9 holes. NO pace problems after #9. Course was in good shape although tee boxes needed mowing. We had a very enjoyable day of golf including our new playing partners and will come back!

Started on time (1pm) and pace of play was good. Only negative was the fairways. They had not been mowed (maybe because of overseed) so very little roll. Greens were fine (little bumpy) for this time of year . Had 2 fun playing partners and it was a stress free round! We will definitely play here again!

Played 5 days ago and course was in good shape from overseeding. Only complaint was wet grass cuttings left on the greens. Today fairways were nice and the greens much better. AND NO GRASS CLIPPINGS on the greens BUT still slow! Now the downside! We had a 2pm start time. Started about 15 minutes late and pace of play was very slow. We finished the front 9 at 4:30 pm AND were only able to play 3 more holes by 5:30 which was too dark to continue. Cart path only is a major factor because of the wide fairways! The upside? Paired with 2 good guys SO wife and I had an enjoyable afternoon in spite of the slow play.

Hot Deal rate! Course is coming out of reseeding SO, cart path only (we were told by pro shop So OK!). Also NO putting green or range. Fairways were OK considering the reseeding. Less roll than typical Az course. As they were wet but dried out halfway through the round Greens were very slow and fluffy, Our only complaint is the greens had been mowed wet and the cuttings left on the green! That left clumps of wet grass! We felt someone from Maintenance could have followed the mower AND used a blower to remove the wet grass clumps. That being said, we got paired with 2 nice guys AND had a fun round! Lunch at The Terrance was excellent!

Being new to Az, we are playing courses near our new home. We were paired with a couple from Missouri and had a fun day. Started right on time and pace of play was good. Sloping greens made for some nerve-racking putts. With firm greens in Az, still learning to club down and be below the hole! We enjoyed our round and will try to play one more time before it closes!

first time played as just moved to AZ. Very windy (afternoon tee time) but that isn't unusual for afternoon golf in AZ. Down wind I was John Daly, into the wind Pee Wee Herman! Most of the fairways have "S" so several tee shots are blind. Large greens created some 3 putts! Plan to eat at the restaurant! Food is OUTSTANDING and very reasonable prices! Try the pastrami sandwich, its DELICIOUS!

Checked in and staff was friendly and very helpful. After looking at #1 and the score card we both decided to play the blue tees. I'm a 18 hc and wife is a 20. #1 was pretty easy BUT the course got much more challenging. Palm Creek runs through most of the course with several large ponds SO shot accuracy was important. We really enjoyed our round and wife got a 40yd wedge birdy hole out which made our day! We will return as the price on GolfNow was excellent AND the course is fun to play!

Visiting from Oregon when saw this deal on GolfNow. Beautiful sunny day and very light play on the South Course. w/11:15 tee time. Only small glitch in round was pro shop told us there was a starter on #1, there wasn't! Course is very nice especially 10/11 around the small lake. Fairways great considering it is late Fall. Greens receptive and nicely maintained. Played silver/bronze tees and at times, with the bright sun, was difficult to find the right tee (tees small painted rocks!) but we were not in a hurry! Nice course! Will come back!

on a 3000 mile (fr Oregon) 12 day golf vacation and MI was definitely a great play. We were paired with a nice couple of similar age (70) and hc. Played gold tees 5608yds! Warm, windy day. Course is definitely "old" Florida: Spanish moss, sand, water, and gators! We really enjoyed the round. Every hole was a challenge leading to #17 "Devils Delight"! on the tee just avoid the traps at 200 yds BUT its your 2nd shot that plays like a ride at Disney World BUT more fun! Should be on every golfers bucket list!

Visiting from Oregon! First it's a true "links" course! Double wide fairways, double HUGH greens with 2 flags! Play yellow out, white in. AND STAY OUT OF THE POT BUNKERS!
Wife and I loved it! Both 18 hc's and shot 93/88. Greens are tough and course management a must. Forget your driver on the range, work on your short irons! Greens were excellent, very fast! Some of the pin locations were brutal.
Will definitely play again next Florida vacation!

On vacation from Oregon. Pro shop checkin was great and starter got us out early. Wife and I weRe paired with 2 great guys who played at our skill level! Course was beautiful and fun to play. Caught up to group ahead of us and they were very slow. No marshal! My complaint was the snack bar at the turn. Ordered JUMBO hot dog $8.50 minute later lady hands me a regular lenght dog on a bun. I said doesn't that come with drink like it says on the sign? Says oh yea, ordered diet drink and she only had 3 flavors of chips, all poor selling flavors! Condiments were little packets! Hardly a JUMBO DOG! Golf is a TOTAL experience and Celebration needs to rethink their snack bar including the small order window, poor signing and service staff with attitude! I'll be back but I won't have lunch at the snack bar!
