Not a Good Summer Course

I've played this course in the Fall before and it's great when it's getting watered, but during the head of summer there seems to be issues with drainage and there are lots of dry spots in the fairway and on the greens that really take away from the beauty of the course. A couple of times I hit decent approach shots onto the green but rolled onto a huge patch of dried brown green that was more like the seaweed wrap for sushi than grass ... goodbye birdie!

Especially at $51 regular rate / $31 twilight rate, this isn't a good value for the money. There are a lot of other good courses that are able to maintain their playing surfaces much better with the summer heat than this one.

Gem in Bremerton

If you're looking for a great little course for a great price, try Rolling Hills. It's not a long course, but has some tight fairways that make it challenging enough to be fun. Definitely a great reason for a ferry ride on the weekend.
