Booked a 07:16 tee time through Golf Now, very excited about playing Olympic course after reading reviews. Drove 1.5 hours from Seattle to course, checked in, hit range balls, was getting ready to go to the tee box when I was told I was to join another single going off 10- did not think much of that and played a very quick 9 as we were the only two on the back. Got to the front and was told that they could not accommodate us on the front. We could wait for an undetermined amount of time or we could play one of the 9's on the Cascade course which is referred to the hackers course.
I went to the pro shop to protest, and was actually told by one of the staff it was actually my fault for playing too fast, they had not planned on us being in until later. When I told the pro I did not pay to play a second rate course, he told me I could take it or leave it. I left it, I will make calls on Monday. One of the other staff told me this is becoming regular at this course as they overbook and split people on each course.
I say if you pay to play a course, you should be allowed to play it, and make the turn fluidly.
