The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Ross Bridge
Played On 08/15/2020Very Fun
Went to Ross Bridge on a golf trip, stayed at the hotel onsite, and had a great time. The course was in wonderful condition, and the elevation changes kept each hole interesting. Luckily we had good weather and it was not cart paths only, as the paths are not very close to the holes, and requires quite a bit of walking between the path and green complexes. All in all the value was great and we all agreed we would go back to Ross Bridge for another trip.
Hammock Beach Resort - The Ocean Course
Played On 06/15/2019Enjoyable Day!
I had the opportunity to play the Ocean Course, and it was a wonderful experience. Having lived in Florida for several years, I am kicking myself for not making it to the course sooner. Conditions were perfect, and nearly every hole had a different element to it that made them unique and fun. The ocean holes were well done, and not jammed in there as some ocean courses are to get the most out of the ocean views, and the rest of the course meandered through a very nice neighborhood. With the generous resort style fairways, none of the residences came into play, which was nice! There are several sets of tee boxes on the course and allow even the longest of hitters the chance to hit drivers down the fairway. This is certainly a MUST play if you like playing ocean courses and enjoy golf!
Pebble Beach Golf Links™
Played On 11/25/2018The Best!
I love golf courses with Ocean views. Whether it is the Palm Beach Par three, or Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, I always make a point to play ocean courses. I thought that Pacific Dunes would always be my favorite, but that was before I played Pebble. It was perfect weather, and there is nothing that can prepare you for the view of 17, and your first glimpses of the cliff on the 6th hole, as you make the turn walking down the third hole. It is remarkable! Lastly, do not let yourself get bullied into playing a specific tee box by the starter, after all, you just dropped a lot of money for the round. If you are a longer hitter, play from the tips. Even if you are the only one in your group playing from the back (like I was), you will not hold up play, as the round already takes 5+ hours. Personally, it made my day so much better to play from the correct tee box.
Spyglass Hill™ Golf Course
Played On 11/24/2018Very Enjoyable
On my recent trip to the Monterey Peninsula Spyglass was sandwiched in between rounds at MPCC and Pebble Beach. I knew the first six holes along the ocean would be great, but what caught me off guard was just how much I enjoyed the rest of the course. In fact, I enjoyed the back 9 better than the front 9. The holes were perfectly designed for a fair but tough test of golf. We played the 18th hole in the setting sun, and I could not have asked for a better day. Also with all of the doglegs on the backside you will be very happy you took a caddie, as he will do a great job explaining the lines you might not be able to see. Lastly, take a second and walk up to the back tee on the par 3 third, as it is one of my favorite views of 17 mile drive.
Dunes at Monterey Peninsula Country Club
Played On 11/23/2018Stunning
During my trip to the Monterey Peninsula I was fortunate enough to play MPCC. I was excited to have the opportunity to play, because I knew it would be nice, but it exceeded all expectations I could possibly have. The course was in impeccable condition, and the holes held tremendous character. While all the holes were stunning, the views of the ocean made them even more special. It would be difficult to overstate my gratitude for having the ability to play the course. If you get the chance to play, do not turn it down.
The Dye Preserve Golf Club
Played On 08/05/2018Pristine
Dye Preserve represents everything you would expect from a private South Florida golf course. A challenging and fun design that rewards great drives, and makes you play different shots off the tee. There is not a blade of grass out of place, and the clubhouse/locker room is the icing on the cake to a pristine facility.
Thankful!
I am very thankful for Raptor Bay. I got out of work early (4:15) and called Old Corkscrew to see if I could get out for afternoon golf, as I was closer to them. Old Corkscrew told me I could not come, because they wanted to send the staff home early....What???? I wonder what their owner would say about that? So, I called Raptor Bay, and they were very accommodating, they told me to come right out, and that they would be happy to let me play! BTW Raptor Bay is a much better course, and if you are trying to decide between the two, I would go play Raptor Bay every day, and twice on Sunday. The greens were perfect and the course was immaculate! Thanks Raptor Bay for a GREAT afternoon!
Magnolia Landing Golf & Country Club
Played On 02/25/2017Fun Time
I bought a hot deal, and arrived at the course a little early, so I had a burger in the grill. The burger was terrific. The pro-shop staff was very friendly, as they helped me pick out a glove for my round, and off I went. The course is fairly tight, so less than driver is a great play on many holes. The conditions were superb, and the weather perfect, so how could I have anything less than a fun time!
Links at Wild Dunes Golf Links
Played On 07/31/2016Fun Play!
I really enjoyed playing the Links course. The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating, and what is not to like about a course that has holes along the marsh and ocean??? The wind made the course play very difficult, but very, very fun!
Timuquana Country Club
Played On 07/29/2016First Class
What is not to like about a course that does not take tee times, and allows you to waltz to the first tee when ready??? The course was in impeccable shape, as well as the club house and surroundings! If you get the chance then you better go play Timuquana!
Queen's Harbour Yacht & Country Club
Played On 07/26/2016Great Greens
I always enjoy playing this course, but the other afternoon the greens rolled as well as I have ever seen them. Keep up the great work!
Pacific Dunes
Played On 07/11/2016The Best!
Pacific Dunes is without question my favorite course, and #4 is my favorite hole in golf. The views are outstanding, and the design unique enough to hold your attention the entire round. I was lucky enough to take my Father there, and it was the golf trip of a lifetime. The entire resort is a MUST PLAY if you love golf!
Wildcat Cliffs Country Club
Played On 06/24/2016Beautiful course
I play most of my golf in Florida, so coming up to play Wildcat Cliffs was a great change of pace. From the weather to the multiple elevation changes it was a great round of golf. What I particularly liked about the course, besides being in perfect shape, was that even though they there were plenty of elevation changes, it was tastefully done to fit the natural terrain.
Windermere Country Club
Played On 03/23/2014A lot of Fun!!
We Played very quickly, and everyone who worked at the course was very nice and accommodating! The course was in good condition and was a fun layout, plus I had a great hot dog at the turn!! I highly recommend the course!
Palm Beach Golf Course
Played On 11/29/2013Great Experience!
I was down on vacation with my brother-in-law, and we booked a tee time here not knowing what to expect, but we were blown away! Nearly every hole on the back 9 is on the ocean, and with the wind blowing like crazy the course played very tough. Florida does not have very many courses with holes on the ocean, so it makes the par three course very unique. If it was not for GolfNow we would have never found the course, but we will certainly return every time we come back to The area. plus, we were able to play all 18 holes in just over two hours. I highly recommend this course!!!
