We played Legends a few times over the years and were disappointed when it closed but welcomed the opportunity to try it out after it re-opened. We were not disappointed and the course remains a good test with some excellent holes and in pretty good shape on tees, fairways and greens - some of the other areas need a bit of work but guess you should not be playing from them! A nice welcome from the cart guy and shop although the starter was disappointingly grumpy and urged us to get to the start or we would lose our slot despite there being 2 parties on the first tee already!! Unfortunately one of these groups was a very slow 4-ball who held us up all the way round. Well worth the visit and good value.

A must play if you can get a decent rate - course is always in excellent condition. Very strong par 5's. Par 3's, with the exception of hole 15, are weaker. Facilities and bar / casual dining always worth a visit

Great value course - we played around 1230 and pretty much had the course to ourselves. Whilst not in perfect condition it was certainly good with excellent greens and fairways. Some really nice and challenging holes. Will certainly be on our list to play again. Starter and pro shop staff very friendly and welcoming.

Course was in the worst condition we have seen it - normally play once a year during vacation. Tee areas were poor, fairways ok and greens generally good. The condition of this course is normally excellent but this was hugely disappointing and it was only because of a very cheap Golf Now hot deal that it was deemed good value. We will certainly be back as it is a great course but this time round very disappointing.

A great deal from golf now meant this was excellent value for money. A long time since last played and a few changes but overall in good condition and well worth playing. Par 3’s (apart from the 15th) a little bland but very tough and interesting par 5’s. Great lunch in a very convenient and very friendly var area. Staff very friendly and made to feel welcome. Not sure I would think value for money at the full green fee but really enjoyed our day.

This is a great course and it was in good condition with very fast greens. Pace of play was awful for about 14 holes due to an outing - the ranger kept us informed but no round should be that slow! Would recommend.

A good course with no bunkers but plenty of run-offs and waste areas to challenge. Some challenging tee shots for the men. Course in good condition. Hard to get at a decent price and there are better courses for the price but would have no hesitation in recommending. Pace of play good after initial hold up behind very slow 4 ball!

Less water than a normal Florida course and was a decent layout but there are other courses that are better and as good value. Staff were friendly and helpful

A good challenge with plenty of hazards and a nice layout with some challenging holes. Course in good condition and represents great value for money. Well worth playing and would be on our list for value every time.

This is a great course with some fantastic holes and is a very good challenge for all standards. Apart from the bunkers which could have done with some work the course was in great condition. Well worth the trip to Howie-in-the-Hills from Orlando.

Very disappointed with the condition of the course from tee to fairways to greens. Greens clearly had work done recently but no warning of condition. Had to play preferred lies on fairways as they were so poor. Some nice holes which would have been good had the course been in a decent condition but on the day could not recommend.

A fantastic setting and great facilities. Course was in great shape and was a very tough but largely fair challenge. The greens were the hardest part - difficult to hit and hold on, lightninhg fast and difficult to read. All in all a great day out.

Great course that benefits from the lack of housing (scheduled to be built) giving an 'away from it all' feel. Space off the tee - small tricky greens and a number of challenging dog-legs. A course well worth playing and would recommend wholeheartedly. No real facilities at the clubhouse which is temporary but enough for your round.
