Didn’t play it for a long time, mostly because they increased the fee to a level for what there are much better places to go… It seems that they are coming back to reasonable prices!
Glad to be back, as I like this, a little bit challenging, but well playable course very much. Tee Boxes, Fairways and bunkers are either in good shape, thought some wet spots after the hurricane still remain. Most greens were OK, but not too fast. Staff seen in Pro shop and by the green of 18th to clean the clubs and get some $... Thanks to hot a deal of Golfnow very good rate.
Overall this is a nice track even the pace was not so good – played as twosome and the other twosome in front of us seemed to be on the second round for the day. At least they have taken endless time in chatting and not playing. Sometime members think they own the place!

We played as foursome with a local and his daughter – both played experienced golf and so the round was really a pleasure.
The course is maybe not too long, but has some challenging holes. Despite the damages from hurricane Irma (some could be still seen at the houses) the course itself was rather in very good condition. Tee boxes, fairways and bunkers are well playable. Greens were not too fast but true. No service outside on course, but it does not really matter, as there are many tanks with watter. Staff not seen except in Pro Shop.
Overall a nice track with some challenging parts – and this all for a very reasonable price!

Played it in March 2016 the last time and was not convinced as far as the quality concerns, although having partly an interesting layout. Compared to it I was surprised how the course has improved. Even after the hurricane fairways were very good (just wet some places). Tee boxes are OK. Some bunkers still don’t have enough sand. Greens were the biggest surprise – very good condition and rather fast and true. Played as twosome and the pace was very fast. Staff friendly.
Overall, improved, well playable, interesting and not expensive.

Played as twosome. The quality of this course was strongly falling down in last years – was a big shame as this course has a very interesting layout. But it seems to improve now. Some places the fairways are not well playable and teeboxes and bunkers too. Greens are rather OK, but not too fast. No service outside. Due to rain we could not finish the round and had to quitt from the 16th hole…

Started as foursome, but were told by the two “gentlemen” to go on and play alone, as they wanted to be on their own. Something like that never occured to me yet…. The players assistant was surprised to hear that too. But we did not care and played a very pleasant round.
The course was surprisingly pretty good after the hurricane. Some places fairways were still rather wet, but well playable. Tee boxes and bunkers were OK. Greens were sanded, but rather fast and true. The only thing to complaint is the construction of the new houses on the second nine. If dry and little windy be prepared for a kind of a sand storm!

Actually there is nothing to complaint. Great staff at the bag drop, cordial at the pro shop, start and on course. Tee boxes and bunkers in very good shape. Fairways only on some spots wet due to the hurricane Irma. Greens are rather fast and because of partly undulation not ease to putt. Pace was very good. Very good dinner in the Clubhouse after the round.
Overall – one of the top places in Orlando – go there. And watch out for hot deals :o)

Played it several times in the past and than the first time in spring after they have changed the layout (replaced holes etc.). I was not very happy than and was even less happy now. These changes have actually damage a very nice layout of an excellent course… Thought I may find a way to accept it, but it is by no way as nice as it was. The quality of the course has gone down too. Even taking in consideration, that there were some damages after Irma. Greens were good and fast. Fairways partly not only wet, but with spot of fresh “implanted” grass etc. Not very enjoyable to play at all. Tee boxes and bunkers were OK. The service on course is not that good, like it used to be too.
Overall, I feel that because of the reconstruction and change of layout this nice course got downgraded… The regular rate is much too high for what you get. A hot deal by Golfnow offers rather a correct value!

Played as twosome. Some places the course was wet, still remainder from Irma. The pace was not very fast, as there were players in front of us playing partly very slow. That was also why we could not finish the round and had to rush to the club house from the 16th green!
The course is very nice but I have played there as the place was in much better condition… Greens are rather fast. Fairways (if not wet…) good, tee boxes and bunkers are well playable. Very good training facility. Staff cordial.

I played it for the first time, after reading some positive reviews. This is an old golf club with a traditional clubhouse – late 1920. The course is very good – to me it could be a twin course to Mission Inn El Campeon, except there is less water and it is more flat. But it has really very interesting layout, with a lot of old trees and it was after the strong rain in the last days in surprisingly very good condition. Tee boxes and fairways very good, bunker had some places very wet sand, but this surely due to the weather condition. Greens are nice, but were a little bit slow. Good service and friendly staff.

Overall – this is really a very good place to go and surely worth the one hour drive from Orlando – and for a very reasonable price!

I have played it several times in the past and this was (probably) the first time with no front wind on the No. 7 – there is a lake needing a shot around 190 yards carry … The course looks not long from the tips, but this hole may create problems (on a windy day). Together with the No. 13 – a long par 3 (around 220 yards) these two holes can damage your score. The course itself is in good condition. There are some bold spots on several fairways, but not in play if staying straight. Due to the rainy weather in the last days some places the fairways were still wet. Bunkers had not always enough sand, but were still good playable. Greens are OK, mediocre speed. Super pace - we played as a twosome in 3.5 hours. Not a lot of service from the staff, but on such a low price course, it does not matter.

Overall – a fun course to play from the back tees…

We got the information (and apology!) about some problems they have with the first 3 hole already at check in the Pro shop. Greens were sanded, but surprisingly pretty fast and true. Otherwise the course is in rather good shape. There are no water hazards – very special for central Florida. Some tee boxes just ok, but the most fairways in very good shape. Bunkers were partly just newly cleaned after the storms in the last days, but very well playable. Staff at the clubhouse and the cart people (drive immediately by arrival to your car to collect clubs and come after the round to clean clubs and take the cart) are very friendly.

Overall a good place to go, though maybe the rates are a little bit too high…

Finally there is a real Clubhouse instead of the container they used to have. But that is about all what changed, except the hole no 1. is now no 10….. Path are still covered with sand and gravel. No service at the bag drop. The course is rather easy, some places wide opened. Tee boxes and fairways need some attention. Bunkers are just OK and the greens are rather slow. But even though, it is pleasant course to play, but nothing special to it. Staff is friendly but except the Beverage cart girl on course not seen much.

Overall, not a bad track and with a hot deal good value for the money.

The course it self would have partly an interesting layout, but… Some places there is no grass on the fairways, some tee boxes are rather bad and several bunkers have not enough sand. Partly maybe due to the not friendly weather in the last days, but even though, it would need some maintenance. Greens are not bad, mediocre speed, some places with little spots without grass, but were maybe the best on the course. Staff at the pro shop was extremely friendly and cordial – no staff at the bag drop or on course.
Overall – not a bad track, but only an average quality and therefore maybe to expensive for that what you get…

This was the best course I played yet in this year. There is just nothing to complaint at all. Pace was good (little more than 4 hours). Tee boxes, fairways rough and bunkers perfect. Greens clean and rather fast – not too fast… Staff was friendly and helpful.
Overall –this is the best place to go for a pleasant day an golf course! Especially with a great hot deal like we’ve got…

Was wondering how the greens developed compared to the fall and they are now really good, though rather slow. The course was a little bit wet, due to the weather – cart path only. The bunkers were, because of that, partly not playable and some even filled with water. Tee boxes and fairways are OK. Staff either not seen and at the pro shop rather not interested, no one at the bag drop, no assistant on course. There is a lot of construction going on and so even the back nine (which were pure nature) are partly touched by it. Some holes are bit challenging, but overall rather an easy and well playable course.

Played here for the first time and really enjoyed it very much. The course does not look long from the tips – on the scorecard (6531) - but it is pretty challenging as there are many (partly hidden) (water) hazard all over the place – especially on the back nine. Most par 5 become not easy because of that. A local knowledge surely will be helpful the next time – and I’ll go there again soon!. Straight shots help a lot too. Interesting layout, very good tee boxes and fairways, even rough is mostly in good shape. Bunkers are smooth, clean and raked (!). Greens were very good – rather fast and true. No beverage cart outside. Restrooms on course clean. Interesting fact – on the front nine 3 Par 5 and 3 Par 3, so in all 5 Par 5 and 5 Par 3. I found the back nine more interesting and challenging, than the front nine. Pace was excellent – we played as twosome 3:40 even with a threesome in front of us. Staff at pro shop friendly, but no staff at the bag drop and on course – some may find it negative, we did not miss it really – but it holds me up from 5 stars….
Overall this is a place to go, even taken one hour drive from Orlando. And by the way – did not see a single fire ant the whole day… :o)

Eaglebrooke is really a nice and challenging course. Well organized. Some water in play, but it can be avoided by straight shots. Tee boxes and fairways in very good conditions. Bunkers well playable. Some greens have little spot with less grass but are very fast and clean. Staff is very friendly. Overall a vey interesting track for a reasonable rate. Go there…

Don’t get some reviews here. Did they play another course at the Orange Lake? The Legends course is very nice. Good and interesting and not easy layout. Tee boxes and fairways in rather very good condition. Bunkers may need some attention, but are mostly good too. Greens are rather fast and clean. Staff is very friendly. Overall this is really one of the better places to go in Orlando. Well organized – beverage cart and player’s assistant on course. Staff is present and helpful at the bag drop. Everything the right way – really cannot understand why some “reviewers” complain here…
