Good course, slow play

Nice course, fairly difficult, especially the greens. a little pricey. Very nice practice facility. Nice clubhouse.
But...pace of play is poor. 9 minute spread between tee times. Over 5 hours to play this track. Multiple groups on some tee boxes. Kinda ruined the round.

Pete Dye strikes again

RMR is a typical Pete Dye course so you get a course that severely penalizes poor shots. The greens are not huge and have many undulations. The greens were inconsistent but otherwise in good shape. RMR is a very challenging course. We had fun, would play it again, but would not want RMR to be our main, home course.

Terrific staff

The course is a tough challenge. The course features lots of mounding, traps, and water. However, that being said, you will feel pretty good regarding your game if you play this course well. Keep it in the short grass. The carts feature GPS which is very helpful.
I cannot say enough about how polite, professional, and friendly the staff were. The young people that worked the bag drop and carts were great. This is a fun and challenging course.

Scenic tract

Well maintained, scary long, terrific scenery. This remote layout with 27 holes can play to over 7600 yards. The course runs through dense cedar trees and scrub brush with lots of elevated tee boxes and/or greens. The courses are part of an upscale housing community, but for now, there are very few homes near the course, which makes for a terrific golf outing. Did I mention the views? Great views in all directions. Beautiful! By the way...I played mid-week and the senior rate was only $47.20. Quite the bargain that included unlimited range balls, cart and greens fee. They will let you play the other nine for only $15 more. (low season rates). Hit 'em straight. FORE!
