Three fathers
Friendly women at the counter introduced us to the fourth member of our group and said to tee off when we were ready.
We did catch up to the group ahead who was slowed by groups ahead of them but after the turn it sorted out and we had a smooth ending. Thanks.
Always an enjoyable round
The course was in very good condition, and improvements are always being made. Club house staff is always friendly and helpful.
Wide open, sandy greens
Lots of wide fairways. Only a couple bunkers. A couple drivable holes. Very sloped and rather large greens, they roll pretty quickly even for being sanded a couple days before. Overall the course isn't too challenging, just takes a little skill around the greens.
It is just ok
So first of all we booked in GolfNow for $22 dollars and the course goes we changed our rates yesterday and charged us 26 dollars a person. (Called GolfNow after the round and they had good customer services to fix it) lady in pro shop was on phone trying to fix credit card machine when we checked in and charged us the rate even though I have confirmation with 22 dollar rate. The course has no starter but is pretty far out of the city so it isn’t that busy most of the time. The course was in avg condition, not enough ppl playing fix divots and ball marks in the green. Soo greens are avg at best. Course was being mowed at the time of play so some holes were just pretty high rough and fairway. Hole 13 is a totally messed up from tee box to ggreen. Needs a cart path installed. As too many golf cart marks in fairways. It is avg course at best. I don’t love it or hate, just kind of blah and very bare bones to me. They don’t have many bunkers(maybe 4 on the whole course.)
maintenance staff
While on the tee box on the back nine, the man on the mower cut back and forth diagonally in the fairway. I waited several minutes thinking he would stop and wait like he should. I finally gave up waiting and teed off when he drove within 20 feet of me....... On my approach shot he did the same thing. On the 16th hole I had to wait five or six minutes for another man mowing in front of the green. I guess I should have apologized to the staff for daring to play on their fairways while they were mowing. As far as the course is concerned, if you can't put "Tiger" backspin on the ball, you need to land your approach shots 20 to 30 feet in front of the green. Many are sloped front and middle to back and very fast. Nearly impossibly to hold. I'm an 8 handicap and found myself chipping and one putting for any chance of par.
My home course love this course
Eagle Creek is well laid out with some long and challenging holes and greens. You won't be disappointed.
Very Muddy November Thru May
This course is great June thru October. Because there are no cart paths it turns into a muddy cow field during the rainy season. The carts are destroying this course!
Great greens
Greens were well cared for. Fairways were short and super dried out.
Disappointed there was no water or warned of no water. Had cramps from dehydration
Great little find off the Path.
For the price it was a gem! They recently changed it to a Par 72 - The Par 5 was pretty interesting as you have to be able to carry it 240-250 over the fairway to clear the water from the white tees! I was amazed at the tee box and green conditions for what seemed like a budget course.
Love the course when it's dry
Need to put more cart paths in or don't let the carts out when it's so muddy they're going to ruin the course. I know we had a really wet winter and It's still raining first day of spring. But you might want to tell people who rent carts to stay off the Fairways and don't go so close to the greens. I'd move the Tee boxs more often really muddy out there on a couple of holes. Other than that the course doesn't look that bad. Just needs to dry out.
