Links at Gettysburg
About
The Links at Gettysburg sprawls across rolling hills situated near the hallowed grounds where the defining battle of the Civil War took place. The golf course wages a formidable challenge itself, featuring 35 steep rock cliffs where the stone-lined tee boxes are perched and 10 lakes and waterfalls that come into play throughout. Red rock cart paths give a contrast to the lush greens and sparkling blue waters. The dramatic elevations allow golfers to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside but the scenery can be almost too distracting since the demanding layout requires all of your attention. Be prepared for a bevy of strategically placed bunkers as well as mature trees. With the challenging layout and unrivaled views, it is no surprise that the Links at Gettysburg is ranked as one of the top 10 golf courses in Pennsylvania.

The guy still works at the course after an overt racism situation. They support his actions or he would be FIRED!!!! Photo submitted by u9215442 on 06/24/2020

Nice experience
The course is in great shape and the facilities (pro shop, grill, bathrooms, etc.) are superior to other courses we've played this year - even ones that cost considerably more. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The place is a little out of the way, but definitely worth the trip!
Course is in Great Shape
My annual trip up to Links of Gettysburg (almost 1.5 hours) and I was not disappointed. Most courses in MD have suffered too much rain and too hot conditions, which have thinned out fairways, caused "crusting" on the fairways and fringes, burned out the edges of many greens, and with 4.5-5 inches of wet, thick rough! It was a sheer delight playing Gettysburg because there was none of the MD conditions--the rough was cut (albeit thick and lush, but at a good height), the fairways were green, and the greens were smooth and fast! The only issue were some of the tee boxes needed TLC and the bunkers needed a tad more sand and were, in some cases, a little wet. But, that was minor given the excellent condition of the course. This course sneaks up on you with stone-edged ravines you must carry and slope in the fairways that looks minor but can cause a ball to go off line and errant real quick. Then, the greens are tremendously fast with subtle breaks...and then some massive undulations, which are not so subtle! It's a fun course, but definitely target golf. Driver is not always the best club off the tee. The staff is always welcoming, and the Tee Time Pass gave a foursome a $50/player fee vs. the $79 rack rate on a Saturday morning. Overall, a great day. Just wished I had played better...but love the course.
Beautiful course, excellent condition, awesome greens
I played the white tees with two good players that knew the course. I was a single. Beautiful course, excellent condition, greens are awesome, lots of break and quick. Not boasting, but I had 4 birdies on front and one on the back.
Loved the course and played it well. Such an enjoyable golf round. Weather was perfect too. Lastly. My two playing partners were great people to play with and both had game!
Love This Course
I'm still giving it 5 stars even though the bunkers need some work. The rest of the course is in great shape! Yes at this time of year the greens have some ball marks (my pet peeve) so I tried to fix as many as I could on each hole. Get the ball on the wrong side of the greens and pray for a 2 putt. If this course was a half hour away I would join in a heartbeat! Senior rates are also valid for Fridays which is a rarity in the DMV. Definitely a must play if you live within 2 hours.
Slow
Took 2 and a half hours on the front 9. Came around the turn and another group jumped in front of us after they sat down and ate. Person working the pro shop was no help at all. Would not recommend this course if you want to play 4 hours or less. Very disappointed.
Very enjoyable course and staff
Get to the point, I loved this course. Like the layout, the staff, the challenge, mix of holes. I liked it enough that it's on my go-back-to list even if it's a drive. I don't boast about courses easily, but this was what I like in a course.
First off the first tee gets you out and away from the club into quiet surroundings with one shot I played all alone and the quiet along with the challenges made it great. A few sneaky holes surprised me when they put a turn in the fairway I didn't pick up on before hitting my ball, but that's cool, that's golf.
Course was in real good shape. Water is in play on several holes. Trees aren't unless you spray them. greens held shots of all lengths.
Go play it. You'll like it.
Links is tough but fair
It’s been.a while since I’ve played Links at Gettysburg. Course was in great shape considering the lack of rain. Always a tough round with plenty of water to be found. Baring your target golf and you will enjoy the round and score.
