Basic and uninspiring
Basic and straightforward. Length and wind are main obstacles. Bunkers relative flat and featureless. Course better suited for beginners and those who like to "grip it and rip it."
Senior Review
Playing from the senior tees on this course gives you a huge advantage. Course is 7000+ from the tips. Practice area is nice and convenient. I will definitely go back.
Goose stepping
The greens were in really bad shape. The grass was so high you spent to much time looking for the ball. You did not get a friendly greating nor a thank you for coming out. Staff to busy talking to them selves to care about you.
no trick holes
course is open with nice light rough, but thicker whispy grasses. the course does play long so expect to use all the clubs in your bag. nice size greens for the long approach.
Okay course, not the worst
This course is pretty good. It has a lot of trees, so it makes it harder to get it on the fairway. Some of the greens and fairways were brown, which stopped the ball. The rough was not too tall, but was tough to get out of. It isn't good enough to be on the PGA Tour, but has good character.
Marvelous Monroe Valley
Thoroughly enjoyed our round of golf. Beautiful day. Spring conditions will only improve with the weather.
Nice Course
Nice Course, will be better once it they get their "beer only license"
Fun afternoon
Even though windy and 50 degrees we had a nice round of golf with excellent hot chocolate after 9 holes. Staff very friendly and great buy on women's golf shirts!
decent course, horrible conditions today
Some of the fairways were like swamps with giant patches of mud in the middle of fairways and greens. Also there were many very deep tore tracks in the mud from carts being places that were too wet. Also very patchy grass coverage which meant bad lies often
Nice open course
It's a longer course which is nice for the longer hitter. It's in fair to good shape overall and some holes have fun layouts. There really isn't any one hole that sets itself apart from any other and nothing in particular sets the course apart from its competitors. It's a nice course to mix up your routine and it's wide open, let the driver out. Food and alcohol are pretty expensive here, $18 for an "8-pack" of beer (6 -16oz beers = 8 -12 oz).
Play it, you will not regret it!
Great course to play if you have not already. This was my second time and the layout is both challenging for all skill sets and forgiving for the slicer. Play it, you will not regret it! Greens roll true, fairways are perfect, and just one tee box needs some help (it's early yet).
Great Course in the middle of no where
This is a great looking course that I hope to play again in warmer weather, but just had to try and get my nephew out there with me and try this one. If not for the cold and drive would enjoy playing here many more times.
Excellent value
Challenging course, great condition, greens were excellent
Great Value For the Money
The course is not real difficult but it has some interesting holes. The tee boxes and greens could use some work. It is not track that is meticulously maintained but it is very good value for the money with a Golf Now booking. I would not be willing to pay the regular price to play this course.
Not in great shape right now
I have played this course before, and it has been in better shape. The greens presently have holes besides the one you are trying to shoot for and everything is very dry. club face bounces off the ground causing a lot of thin shots.
Old, Not maintained, like playing on concrete
I played this course on Sept 17th with a group golfer coupon (only $15 for 18holes and cart) I found out after we played the price was regular $15 for 18holes and cart.
My group had to look for staff to check in, 10 min later had to look for staff to buy balls. at the turn had to look for staff to buy a drink.
The course looks ok, but the rough is rough and not maintained. The greens looked burnt and i've played on putt putt courses that were not as hard.
Lots of water in the sand traps and hard to understand which way the greens were.
I don't recommend this course even if it were Free.
Has the look of a country club but the fairways have little feel.
This course is great if you like to hit the driver. You can air it out and stay out of trouble. Nice mountain views although the course is flat. This is a feel good course. You will leave very happy if you just putt at the cup and don't read into the greens too much.Recommended for the senior off of the gold and average golfer off of the white. It may be too long off of the blue if you don't hit the long iron. Club semi pro is a great person and very helpful with tee times and local food.
Nice course, Slow play
Good course at a great price (Hot Deal) at a prime time (9:45). My overall rating would have been higher except that the round was extremely long due to the fact of very slow play of groups ahead.
nice place but needs some work
The tees were bare in some places and the fareway spotty.
B ut it suites my game.
