About
The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

Surprisingly nice course
I purchased the Phoenix Card and get a pretty good rate for walking the course. Encanto is a good place to golf, not too long and somewhat challenging.

Disappointed
For the money I paid. Almost 70.00. It was not worth playing there. Greats had been plugged. Dead patches in some of the greens. Very disappointed. That’s for sure.

Rough greens
Greens had some type of issues. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good course, slow play
Course conditions very good. Greens, bunkers, and fairways excellent. Some hard pack around greens - carts drive too close in some areas. All those good things negated some by slow pace of play. 4:45 round, waiting nearly every tee.

This course has a lot of holes running east and west with the sun making it difficult to follow the flight of the ball,
This is the first time I played golf since the first of November and it felt to play. I can't wait to get back on the course and see if I can improve my game. The course was in tremendous condition and the ball was rolling out quite nicely. My score for 18 holes was 74 and that's not to bad for an 86 year old fellow.
