About
The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

Lots of open space, greens so so
If you spray a driver off the tee you're in luck, there are only a couple of holes where that could be a problem. Long and wrong is okay on most holes other than the par 3s. Some of the par 3s are fairly long and challenging from the back tees. The greens were just average condition but not horrible. Good place to play if you haven't been out for a while and your game is a bit off.

Good beginners course
It's a flat course with few penalty areas and only the minimal greenside bunkers; crusty sand. Greens and fairways are in very good condition. Distance markers were different to locate if they existed. Carts in fair condition. Order by mobile phone at 8th tee what you want at the turn. Restrooms are adequate but need work.

Phoenix area muni-experience
This municipal golf course is everything you could hope for in a course of this type and variety. Some of the greens will need some attention soon, but otherwise the course will not disappoint you when you are looking for a place to play in town.

Good course to play. Price was right and the course was in alright condition. Some areas where a little hard but all in all it was fun and had a great day on the course.

Best Muni Course
This is by far, the best muni- course that I have ever played. It may be flat & wide, but from tee to green, it was very well kept!

Very nice Muni!
Visiting from Portland OR for a few days and this is the 2nd course I have played! It was a fair challenge and very well maintained! Thoroughly enjoyed it and my playing partners! Will return next year!
