Prairie Highlands Golf Course

Played here a lot for the past 4 years & it's always a good time. Good layout, pretty good conditions & somewhat challenging greens. It's a little windy here most of the times but I think I've just gotten used to it here. It's somewhat wide open but it's still a challenging course. They have some water hazards throughout the course, more on the back nine. I love it b/c we seem to always find great rates here!

Great course in great shape. Staff is awesome. Definitely one of the better courses in the area

I had friends and family in for the July 4th weekend who were looking forward to playing some golf. Half of our group were experienced players and half were novices. We played in the mid afternoon and the weather was perfect just a little windy. We just played the front nine and found the course to be in great shape with a challenging but fun layout. Great course for an intermediate or beginning golfer. Got a super deal from the staff who were just awesome and could not have been more accomodating. Also love the GPS feature on the carts. Also, course was not overly crowded so you could take your time on some holes.

The wind made the course play tough yesterday. Initially things were slow, there was a foursome in front of us walking and they never even thought about letting us through. Once we made the turn though we never saw them again and played the back 9 in about an hour and a half. The course was in great shape, the greens rolled well, the fairways were perfect, the rough was tall and very penalizing in certain spots. Enjoyed the round very much and if you want a range finder on your cart, they have them.

PH is a beautiful, affordable golf day. The challenge of the course is great for the average golfer.

The whites played short. The average golfer should play the blues. The range was "ok" as the yardages are tough to figure. Over all the course was fair fast greens and super nice club house staff that seemed to appreciate our business. That's a sign of leadership from the top. I'll be back for that alone and the course was pretty well done too. Fair prices.

I loved the course layout. A very challenging course. However, my few complaints come with the condition of the course. I had heard so much about the course, my expectations may have been a little high, but I was very displeased with the bunkers. There are a lot of them and I found more than my share, however, they were hard and crunchy dirt rather than sand. In fact, I found that most players didn't even bother raking there tracks cause you really didn't sink down. It didn't sit well with me, but the club brings this on due to the bunker condition. There was some aerating of a few fairways as well, but I realize that is an important part of keeping the condition up, so I didn't have a problem and it was only 3 or 4 holes. Overall a good course, that has the potential to be great if they would do something with the bunkers.

Went out with the family today and it was a great course. First time I had been there they have these cool GPS system on the cart that tells you how far away you are from the hole which really helps your game. The course was really green and pretty. I loved all the sandtraps they had, made the course really fun. Overall a great course definitely one of my favorites will be going back many more times.

Course just in awful shape from what you'd expect for $$ and how it used to be.

The course use to be awesome. This time the greens were horrible and the fairways were not much better. They nickel and dime everything. Most place include tax on fees and items from the snack bar, not here

Great course. There was lots of sand so bring your SPF 50. At least I spent some time in there. The course GPS is a great feature and is a big draw to the course. Kind of a pricy $5 hotdog, but everything thing else was great.

I only played this course one time but I really enjoyed it. It was in very nice shape, very green and didn't seem to be affected by the droughts like some of the other courses.

I had one of my worst rounds of the year here, but I cannot take out my frustration on this course because of it! It was a nice course to play and I would easily recommend it to anyone.

What a terrible experience! Booked an afternoon tee time on a Monday for the coming Friday. A fellow golfer and I showed up an hour early to warm up and was told that there was a morning scramble tourney going on and they were running 15-20 minutes behind. Annoying, but understandable …except for the fact that there was an afternoon scramble tourney as well. Really? Two tournaments in one day? Called up to the clubhouse on my cell from the putting green 15 minutes AFTER our tee time had expired and asked if we could tee off. Was put on hold for over 10 minutes before hanging up. We ending up just giving ourselves the greenlight and teeing off between two foursomes playing in the afternoon scramble tourney. The greens were in great shape but the fairways and fringes LOOKED HORRIBLE. There were so many dead hardpan patches in the fairway is was unreal. A lot of the fringes had been resodded with a species of grass I have not seen used on a golf course before. Patchy, sandy, lumpy, and dead or dying spots ALL over the course! Completely ridiculous.

wide open rough is tough. good price for the course there are several holes under mtce but overall the course is looking good.

Played here sat. 5/3 at 2:30. Pace of play was 4 hrs 20 min for a foursome playing blue and white tees. Course was in great shape. Greens were very readable and rolled true. One of the nicest courses in the area for sure. Will absolutely play here again. You can't beat $33 on golf now for this course.

Can't beat the course for that price. Challenging layout and can play some length from the back tees. Will undoubtedly return....
