Holds up well to weather
Other than a few spots where there is cart path construction and jerks leaving ruts, the course holds up really well considering the amount of rain we’ve had the last week. I’ve always loved the layout at Beaver
Horrible Greens and Slow Play
Greens were in terrible shape. Worst I’ve ever seen. They also allowed a group to slide in on a Saturday which slowed things down. Waiting 15-20 at the tee box with multiple groups is just horrible. Will take this course out of the rotation for a while
A Marshall would help the pace of play. Teed of at 3:54 and was able to complete all 18. Did have to ask to play through one group. Finished at 7:30. Conditions top notch. Greens rolled well, with a little maintenance from players, ie fix ball marks and rake bunkers could rival private course conditions.
Really fun course
I had a little trouble finding the clubhouse due to google maps sending me to the mailbox near the maintenance shed. Staff member guided me to the clubhouse and the rest of the day was great. Golf cart was in good shape, course in great shape and pace of play was really good (about 3 hours). Greens rolled real smooth and were quick. Fun course and well worth the drive.
Course was awesome
Was being told we were holding up pace of play but we were 2.5 hours in and half way through hole 15 and finished in 3 hrs doesn’t make sense to me maybe don’t tell people start when you feel like it and expect it to take care of itself
