Wigwam Resort - Gold Course
About
The Gold Course is one of three 18-hole courses offered at the Wigwam Resort, which was named one of Golf Magazine's "Silver Medal Resorts." Golf Digest cited the Gold Course as one of the best public courses in the state. Mature trees are present on all of the courses, as well as winding creeks that create water hazards, which come into play on several holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers present on the course. The rolling landscape of the course causes elevation changes that can affect shots. The Wigwam Resort facility also has a putting green and chipping area.

Great course and clubhouse
From check in to the food at the clubhouse. Excellent. Time.
GOLD COURSE IS A BEAST!!
Best select the right Tee Box for your game. This course plays long, even from the Forward Tees.
Well maintained course, going back soon to play the Blue course. They also have a Red course too.
Slow Greens
This was my first time playing the Gold course at the Wigwam. I liked the layout, the tee's and fairways we're in great shape...the greens looked good but very disappointing in the fact that they we're very slow! Any decent player will tell you that if anything , please give us fast greens! We can deal with just ok tee's and fairways but the greens , please give us nice fast greens! IMO it took the fire right out of the course
Great Course...Highly Recommend
This was my first time playing the Gold course. Overall it was not that difficult but we played from one of the forward tees, It probably gets much tougher from the tips. I liked how some of the holes looked easy initially but they had their subtle difficulties if you were not paying attention. Will play there again and highly recommend
Course needs maintenance.
I expect more from the Gold course at the Wigwam. Many bare spots in fairways and on greens. Lakes very low and no putting greens open. Staff very friendly, but did not give us any warning of course conditions. Also, many bushes and trees in need of trimming. Very disappointed in condition and hope improvements are made this summer.
Well designed, greens a little rough shape
Great layout. Caught the course before the bermuda grass kicked in, so it is in transition. It will be nicer in a few weeks.
Nice track
The Gold Course was fun. The course needs a few weeks to really turn over to summer grass. In the meantime it is still a great test, long, decent bunkers and tricky greens. I will go back.
Never again
For being highiy recommended it was very disappointing. The fairways were without much grass and the greens were extremely slow. The rough was also very poor.
