Blue Sky Golf Club (formerly known as Mill Cove Golf Club), which opened in 1990, is an Arnold Palmer Signature golf course located in the heart of the Jacksonville golfing community.
Blue Sky Golf Club has wetlands and marsh areas, tree-lined fairways and native bunkers.
The par-72 golf course measures 6,784 yards from the longest tees. The course rating is 72.1, with a slope rating of 130 on Bermuda grass.

First time and wouldn’t go back
Wasn’t what I was expecting. Had problems getting keys for cart and employee got attitude when asking what to do. Not a good layout of course.
Something needs to be done
The course is starting to look like it did before it closed. No grass in the fairways no grass on the tee boxes greens slow bumpy and inconsistent from green to green. It looked great when it first reopned and has gone done hill over the past two years to the point that i really dont want to play there even though i live really close to blue sky. There are a dozen courses in Jacksonville you can play for the same price or less that are in way better shape.

Problem group
Moved along well for 13 holes, then got stuck behind a rowdy group. There was 6-7 people. They were yelling, driving carts in circles, taking multiple shots including running starts, hitting at the same time off the tee box and hitting while there friends we’re driving cats in the path of their shots. Disruptive, dangerous and really put a damper on the end of our round.

Sprinklers?????
Enjoyed the course. However, the grounds crew ran the sprinklers for the first nine holes. We were constantly racing to tee off and hit second shots while dodging sprinklers.

Great course overall
Blue Sky is a fun layout. Not particularly difficult. Fair test of golf. Greens looked good. Tee boxes and fairways are looking a little rough. Dead patches. Staff is always great. A little overpriced to me for the course conditions but not too bad. If you want a solid, fun round of golf you can’t go wrong here. My group plays there once a month.

Good Local Course
Play here pretty often and always nice to get out to play 9 holes. Greens were extra sandy today and pace of play a bit slow. Seems there was a bit of a back up compared to normal. I still recommend this course as i have played it several times and this is the first time I have encountered a slower pace and very sandy greens. I'll be back there in another week or two.

Too slow

Good value. Fun course to just play and get out in open air.
Liked the wide open fairways. Truly a good value. not the best kept course but for the money a good course to go out and knock the ball around. Course should be maybe a 2.5 star rating but for money I'd give it a 4. Played fairly fast. Don't take game too serious if playing here but you will enjoy the day.

Doing a great job during this difficult times
This club is doing a great job with social distancing - no rakes, pool noodles around the flag sticks, single carts, etc. Great course to walk except for the stretch between 12 & 13. Love the new tee markers with the hole distance. Really enjoyed my round today and looking forward to playing there again soon. Today's starter, Chip, did a good job of juggling the afternoon groups.

Nice course nice day
Amid the covid-19 shutdown this course is still open and is proving a great opportunity to get out and play. Nice course with a mainly open layout. Driving range has trackman. Will play again

Fun Course Manage Expectations
People call this course over priced. Maybe, but by like $6. You play here for the atmosphere. It’s a relaxed place to play. No dress code. Fun place to play with a group of friends and have a few drinks. Although the course isn’t as nice as some in the area, it’s still really well taken care of. A lot of really cool holes. Some wide fairways to drive. Also some more difficult holes. Just manage your expectations and you’ll have a good time. Heather at the bar is friendly. Driving range is really good although it’s mats. Even if you don’t pay for the shot tracker, the machine will still track the balls path and give you one random stat (not all the stats). It alternates between a distance, height etc. 2 big buckets of balls for $23. I pay $18 for 3 Ball bags at Hidden Hills (Grass range). Blue Sky gives you way more balls than Hidden Hills.
Great Course
Great course, practice range equipped with Top Tracer, and friendly staff! The course itself is pretty wide open. Not to many hazards and is good for someone who may be starting out or not to great (like me). Not too many chances to lose a ball or hit sand. I will play this course again and recommend to anyone.

In great shape
Really enjoyed my round today. I can tell they have been working hard to get this great layout back in shape. Will start playing there more often. I also noticed the cart attendant wiping down the carts with disinfectant after the round. I was glad to see that during this COVID-19 stuff.

9 and 18 are really nice holes. Some other hole ie 17 , 1 fair but challenging.

1st time pace of play made me leave it was so bad.2nd time not as bad but unacceptable,esp on a wednesday.greens were spray painted kmart carpet an ruined any chance scoring.place is confusing.used my rewards thank god as 40 bucks for this place is terrible pricing.
