Love the clock at each tee box to keep you on time. Greens were firm but not circus hard. There was some course construction going on but they were kind enough to hold off while i hit.

Stine Creek is always in great shape and is one of my favorite courses in the Portland area. Greens fees are reasonable and its possible to get on. Friendly staff and views of Mt. Hood are always appreciated, as well.

Visiting and found this gem on Golfnow. Great layout beautiful scenery . Friendly staff. We come back when in town again.

Beautiful setting, course in great shape, would go often if not so far from downtown Portland

Played out at the course on 4/10, enjoyed the condition of the course, given the rain we've had, as well as a very nice driving range and practice facilities.

The course is laid out in a fair way, with some easy holes and some hard holes. I think the challenges are there, especially if you choose the right tees!

Stone Creek is simply amazing. Its got a variety of tee boxes which is perfect for all level of golfers. As a beginner, I found each hole reachable and the rough easy to hit out of. With my boyfriend being a 2.4 handicap, he found the course long and challenging.

We played the course early April and the conditions were great, no areas of standing water, course drained very well. From tee to green it is in immaculate condition. Some fairways are open and gettable and others are difficult and punishing. Greens are undulating but roll smoothly and FAST! And they have a grass driving range.

I played on President's Day, so it took 5 hours to plan.
The course was well drained for winter, few soggy spots. The greens were perfect, the turf was thick for February. Conditions similar to a day in May.

The course is fairly flat on most holes with just a few providing a walking challenge.

Stone creek is a challenging course with fairway bunkers, and a variety of challenges. It's a top public course in Oregon and you must give it a try, even if you have to drive far. Well worth the drive.

I can't believe this is public course. This course is maintained as well as a high priced resort or private country club. The fairways are immaculate. The greens are true and fast, in all seasons. The bunkers are RAKED !!! And, there is SAND in the bunkers.
Simply put, this course is kept up well. This course has the best drainage I have seen anywhere.
Some people don't like holes 12, 13 or 15. I feel this is part of the challenge. You don't need to use your driver on every hole. Just keep your ball in play and you can eliminate the big numbers.

Although the fairways were wet from record December rains, balls still bounced and rolled nicely, ground were firm to walk on and the greens were superb, smooth and rolling true. Credit great design in drainage and care in tending of the course. It's easily one of the best if not the best winter course in Portland metro areas. A job well done to the management team there!

Very refreshing to have ALL the staff at a public golf course be so very friendly. Everyone from the pro shop to the starter to the deli counter was very friendly. Made us feel like they were actually thankful to have us playing there. Portland has had more rain in the past week then the past year and the course was in amazing shape. Thanks Stone Creek! We will be back soon!

Every hole presents a unique challenge for all levels of players. One of the most beautiful courses I've played in the Portland area. We played a few days after heavy rain and the course was dry as can be. The green fees are relatively low and the the course's staff is one of the most friendly I've ever encountered at a public facility. Absolutely one of my favorite courses ever.

Have not played this course in 6 or 7 years. Just as challenging as I remember. The course is maturing, becoming even more of a beautiful setting. Very well maintained.

I really enjoy playing this course. Played three times during the last week because of great values due to arriation. On weekends the pace of play is usually poor, but when it's not too crowded it's hard to beat Stone Creek.

Although greens were aerated 3 days prior it was very playable just a bit slow rolling. Other than that staffers and services were great, fairways freshly mowed and well watered, course was challenging but fun. Our foursome had a wonderful time.
