Port Ludlow Golf Resort
About
The Resort at Port Ludlow sits along the shores of the Puget Sound with views that stretch across the Port Ludlow Bay. Located just 90 minutes from Seattle, the resort offers a luxurious waterfront inn, a marina, an award-winning restaurant, and a championship 18-hole golf course. Robert Muir Graves designed the course. He crafted a layout that challenging but rewarding, all while preserving the beautiful natural surroundings. The golf course is just one of 10 in the state of Washington that is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. During your round, you'll enjoy abundant wildlife and panoramic views of the Hood Canal and Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. The golf course isn’t long but it's tight and will require both accuracy and strategy. Many holes are dramatically sloped and there are hazards facing you at almost every turn.

PLGC 8/8
PLGC is a challenging course for less than pro, but it is a beautiful place to play. Yesterday the temp was low 80s, and the pace of play was quite acceptable. There were some mud holes, which grabbed a ball or two. The recent heat has prompted the attendants to water more, causing the mud. Otherwise, quite enjoyable round.
Great Golf Experience
Really enjoyed this course. True greens that are in excellent condition. Fairways are in good condition. Well play this course with regularity. Practice area is really good and the practice green is what you can expect when putting the greens on the course.
Great course a must play
A great course, if you are in the area. Greens were fast and true. Course was in great condition with lots of challenging holes.
Great course,great day!
I always enjoy playing this course. All the drainage work and sprinkler system repair that has been done in the last couple of years has paid off.The maintenance crew have the fairways and greens in great shape ,the staff are pleasant and accommodating and the new GPS equipped carts make it an excellent way to spend the day!
What happened?
Not as I remembered it. The course wasn't as maintained as in the past. Rough was higher, tee boxes didn't have flowers and were uneven. Layout is fun, which is why we went back.
Good Spring Day!!!
Had a great time... Course was wet in places where the ball did plug but we did find the balls. The greens had not been punched yet so they were fun to putt The course and surroundings were beautiful..
Beautiful course
We have played this course a few times and always love coming here. It is a challenging course but also playable for those not so experienced either. They have nice placement of forward tees for ladies. It was pretty rainy and wet the day we played, but still a beautiful course. I can't wait to go back when we have warm, sunny weather!
The elevation changes and features are what make this course really enjoyable to play. I cant wait until the weather changes so i can play this course again in better weather condtions. I highly recommend ths this course to anybody!!!!
Very Good Public Course!
Greens in great shape, overall it's a phenomenal course! You will not be disappointed! I have been golfing at Port Ludlow for 25 years. It is only a 35 minute drive from Bremerton/Silverdale. I like it because it is a challenging, yet fair course. The fairways and greens are usually in very good shape. The only issues I have are that it is very damp after a good rain shower. However, I've recently noticed some major work to the back nine. Good for you.
Nice round !
A hidden gem of the NW ! A great pace of play ! a Beautiful course !
Getting better and better
Second time this summer and the course just keeps getting better and better. A lot of time and effort is being put into this course to bring it back to its former glory.
Worth The Trip
I've always wanted to play Port Ludlow but an hour and a half drive was tough to do.... I'm so glad I did!!! What a great place.... Course was in great shape, greens were solid, and for the value it's tough to beat. I would definitely go back again
great time
course was great and good time had by all. thanks
A true bargain
I've been playing Port Ludlow on and off for over 25 years, and the condition of the course this time was as good or better than it has ever been. Kudos to the greens superintendent. Also Kudos to Golf Now for providing a round for the great bargain of $25.
First time
This was our first time playing this course. Lost a few balls, but would play this one again.
Green with good roll
Well maintained course. Especially enjoyed neatly cut fairways and rough. Good greens.
Still work to do
After reading about how the course had been brought back to being drier and more playable I decided it was time to head back to Port Ludlow and give it a shot again. What I discovered was a course that needs to be drier and mowed closer. The fairways are the depth the rough should be and the rough was rough alright. The greens were very smooth but so slow. It appeared to my group that it was way over watered, probably worried it might get too dry. My suggestion would be set the mowers lower and cut it to a level that would make this course top notch.
Excellent course because each tree lined hole is a challenge and the views are spectacular.
