Willows Run Golf Club - Coyote Creek Course
About
Willows Run Golf Club in Redmond offers four courses: two championship 18-hole links courses, a family-friendly par 3, and an 18-hole putting course. There is something for every golfer at Willows Run no matter what skill level. Coyote Creek is one of the championship courses. The par-72 layout is 6,344 yards from the back tees. The golf course has a classic links design that is mostly straightforward but you can still expect some challenges, especially with water coming into play on nearly every hole. There are a few strategically placed bunkers as well as some rough. You'll also face the occasional dogleg. With the terrain being mostly flat, the terrain is easily walkable. The course is approachable for beginners but the nine-hole, par-3 and the putting courses are also good options for new players.

Scratch your itch at this golf factory
Willows Run, to me, felt like a golf factory. The two courses - and other facilities such as the nine-hole Heron Links executive course, Rainbow Run putting course and Gregg Rogers' Golf Performance Center - form a complete facility that can cater to all ages and abilities.
But the way the place is run, where a microphone announces tee times in a crowded staging area, feels like the club is more interested in pumping out rounds than making golfers feel welcome. The putting green was packed the day I visited, and golfers and carts were hanging out everywhere. It's obviously a popular place, thanks to its value-oriented greens fees and its convenient location near downtown Seattle.
The length of the Eagle's Talon Course attracts longer hitters and lower handicaps, while the tighter, shorter Coyote Creek Course provides a different target-oriented test of precision and shot-making favored by the staff.
It was a very nice course.
The course was moderately challenging with a few par 5's. The grounds were well maintained, but did have a few areas being patched up. It was a little crowded and the back 9 was a lot slower than the front 9 because we had to wait for so many groups.
Willows Run is a beautiful championship caliber golf course complex
Located in the Sammamish Valley, Willows Run is a beautiful championship caliber golf course complex. We are a full service facility, complete with two eighteen-hole, links-style courses -Coyote Creek...
Good deal made it worth it
I have played both of the courses at Willows and I like Eagle better than coyote creek. With that being said I paid $16 on a thursday afternoon and it was a good deal. Pretty easy if you hit the fairways.
Excellent greens and fairways
Very nice course. The fairways and rough well maintained. However, the bunkers had water that had collected from rain. I actually lost a ball in one and could not see it. The greens were like velvet. The ball rolled very true, but they were very challenging.
Over all I like the course. Would play again and would recommend to others.
father's day and the finals for the US Open, but the course was simply jammed. Go figure. The course was plenty challenging to this newby to golf!
Crowded on weekends = slow play. I am new to golf and found this course plenty tough to handle. Most holes require something other than just blasting off from the tee. Challenging bunkers protect the well contoured and fast greens. I suggest not going on the weekends ... but that is likely a problem everywhere.
Great course at great hot times price
A buddy and I played Willows (Eagles Talon) from the tips on June 8th for $18 a person via the hot times price. Perfect Day and the Course played perfectly too. Marshall's were very helpful and friendly and we even saw a coyote a couple of times. The course is everything you would want, difficult enough to be interesting, but it rewards good shots and is a blast to play. As always it was in great condition and the greens rolled true. If you can get a hot times booking at this course, jump on it.
Not bad value
The facilities and amenities are great and the people who work here are very friendly; however the course could be maintained a bit better. Overall, excellent value with the discounted green fees from Golfnow.com!
Expect a LONG round.
My friend played the day before we did and had a six hour round. I hoped she had exaggerated. We had a six hour round as well. The group behind us hit into us FOUR times! I realize this is not the fault of the course, but we reported each time and they were allowed to continue to play. We were on the green and they'd hit onto the green. I'm not sure what is acceptable to a course, but four times? Unacceptable. As for the six hour time, I have heard from several others that this is normal. I think the course needs to maybe look into seeing if they are booking their times too close, or if they need to marshall play better. For the money, there are better options.
The course was great with beautiful weather
Even though I missed some rounds and lose money, I could save money from Golfnow.com Thank you for your business.
Awesome
Great course and great value. Never had a bad experience here when getting on as a single. Everyone is always pleasant.
This course should be played as early as possible.
If you don't like playing 5-6 hour rounds, you should play early in the morning. The staff is friendly but tends to overbook resulting in very slow play from the afternoon on. It was sunny and 80 degrees when I played but have experienced the same on not as nice days.
Avoid on warm weather weekends
Willows course mgmt really packs the course with too many tee times, banking on the abundance of golfers in the area to moo like cattle as they slowly get herded by dismissive rangers through 18 holes at a pace far, far too slow for the course.
Course was too packed and is not in very good shape
We booked a tee time for 3:45 on a Wednesday, but teed off closer to 4 because the course was so packed. I used to play this course because it was always in great shape, but it was a huge disappointment in that regard. There were lots of very muddy spots - even in the middle of the fairways. The odor coming from the water hazards smelled like sewage. Groups were stacked on top of each other, and we had to wait on pretty much every tee box (this shouldn't have been surprising since it took about 10 minutes just to check in and pay).
Not Great Bang for your Buck
Willows continues to be overpriced for the difficulty, pace and appeal of the golf course. Both courses are identical, the course is always packed and the rate of play is pretty bad.
The course is well maintained and the greens are particularily rolling well early on in the season.
Playing on A Wednesday evening off of Golfnow is $31 walking, with a cart and a bucket of balls = $50 bucks, which is waaay too much money for a municipal "Twilight" Rate.
It's wet out there.
The course was pretty soggy, but of course this is the northwest, so what can you expect. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed our play.
This course is on good condition
I play Coyote course that has a good green condition - A challenge course for a 20 handicap
Convenience location
Convenience location for friends joined to play. Fun to play here. Muddy in many places in this spring time, but the price is good. Very difficult to get out from wet, rough. If you can keep the ball in fairway, it will be ok. Green is big, good and fast.
Nice fairway
Easy course. Can just play bump and run for the whole course. Not many hazards. Small green. Well maintenance. Good price. Easy for beginners. Good for practice.
Perfect Hot Deal!
Not the greats of conditions to play in, considering the amount of rain fall we've had the last few days. But overall a fun day.
