Pumpherston Golf Club
About
Pumpherston Golf Club, designed by Graeme Webster, offers a superior golfing challenge, including water features over the length of the 6,000-yard, par-70 golf course and R&A-standard greens.
A round at Pumpherston Golf Club begins on Paraffin Young, a 398-yard par 4 that requires a straight drive and attention on hazards surrounding the green: bunkers right, deep rough behind. Hitters unpack long games on Pentlands, the 516-yard par-5 10th, which features a narrow fairway, requiring a straight tee shot; 150 yards from the green, the fairway drops, making a tricky approach. Close the round on Iranapol, another long hole, at 505 yards and par 5, and where water guards the green, meaning that length alone won't help you.
Book a seat in the Pumpherston Golf Club's clubhouse early - and let the clubhouse caterer know about any dietary restrictions, which the staff can work with - and head up for lunch and a drink with views of the golf course.

Great course - will def be back
Despite the mini hurricane while we played here, this is a fabulous little course….we played here while winds were gusting c30mph which made it tough to compare, but all told beautiful course, lots of challenging holes, lots of beautiful surroundings..
Nice day
Nice track with some interesting holes. Great value and greens were lovely. Great staff especially the greenkeeper who went out his way to pick up and return money my father unknowingly dropped.
Five star course.
Enjoyed great day out, course was in great condition, did,nt use club house facilities, but place looked good.
Would recommend this course & plan to return,
Thanks Pumpherston golf club.
Great nick considering the amount of rain
The rainy season arrived on Sunday afternoon with torrential rain continuing through the night but we decided not to cancel. It kept raining for most of the round and we saw two other golfers when going down the first fairway then didn't see anyone else on the course apart from dog walkers and kids playing in the puddles.. Course was in great condition considering how much rain had come down and the pond at the 13th was still dry.when my ball landed on it so I played it out without any bother. Still prefer it in the sunshine.
Gem of a course
Pumpherston is a great course to play. Has something for everyone. Great wee challenges as well as the chance to boom off the tee if that's your thing. In great condition and superb value for money. The club house is really nice with cracking food
Good course to play
Good course, with varied holes, and a reasonable amount of forgiveness in the fairways. Not particularly long, so a number of birdie opportunities for the long-hitter.
Top quality
This course is up there with championship courses. Great variety of holes all of which are maintained immaculately. Will most definitely be back this year.
Fantastic condition
Not the first time I've played and definitely won't be the last.
The greens were lightening fast and made any downhill putt a real challenge. I would recommend Pumpherston to any golfer wanting a game on a lovely course in Great condition.
