Just better than ok
This course just didn’t have the wow factor for me and o thought it was just better than ok they do appear to be doing some work which could have been the reason. I got it and a great price and if you do as well then it’s worth going.
Loved it, and great value
Great couurse, and pace of play was brilliant. Golf hit and miss but that's my fault haha. Will certainly be back
First time playing this Track
Biggest problem was the Greens although they were more like flat bunkers…. Absolutely terrible, they put sand down on all greens and as we tee,d it up at 7.50 we could only play approaches to the green as impossible to putt on these!!!
When I called at the shop when finished they said they were playable so tough luck and goodbye!! No apologies, no offer of another round later in year, nothing.
First and last time I play at this Golf club.
Good potential but…
-Third time I have played this course and every time the greens have been under maintenance and heavily sanded.
-Fairway Grass very long in places with grass lying in clumps after cutting.
-Potential to be a great course.
-Disappointed to pay full price with greens in such bad condition.

Fantastic condition
The course is in really good condition. Fairways are cut lovely and the greens are super quick. A great challenge for not a lot of money
In great condition - very enjoyable
The course is in great condition. Set up for Captains day. Greens very dry, fast and firm. Close to losing a few spots on the greens but still rolling well. Rough a little longer than some other courses. A very enjoyable round.
Masserene
Booked through golf now. Teamed up with another 2ball booked for the same time. Enjoyable company and thoroughly enjoyable round of golf. Course in great condition. Would recommend highly.
Great
Super course, greens perfect but the semi rough a bit severe. Really enjoyed it all.
Stunning course
Absolutely stunning coarse, very well maintained and a great challenge. I will definetly be back.
Poor condition and awful unplayable temp greens
Price was good however we arrived and all the greens where closed this wasn’t a issue until we came to the temp greens which where the worst temps I have ever played, unplayable and totally spoilt the experience as I took a friend who I told that the course was very good and it would be a place to potentially join. Unfortunately don’t think he will be now.
Cold conditions
There were some temporary greens and ice on the ground but by and large the course was very good to play! Also the ground staff were cheerful and friendly we all need to be friendlier and polite to each other in these times!
Good winter golf
Purposely picked a fair weather day for last round of the year. It has been wet recently, was really very impressed with course conditions for time of year played much more prestigious courses at similar time of year and Masserene was better than most. Only gripe was greens were poor, very uneven and bobbly , effected score on several holes. However can’t complain for great price we got round for. Will be back in summer
