larne golf club
My first experience of this club was like stepping back in time. The club house looked run down and I had to pay via placing my money in an envelope and putting it into a box. Not good first impressions. Once I got my bearings and found a score card, no thanks to the lack of staff, I had a very enjoyable round of golf. All the holes had something to offer. It wasn't the most difficult course iv every played but a good test. The final three holes where outstanding. I was looking forward to head round again just to play those three. But was hulted by a group of ladies who wouldn't let me play through as they said they had preference which I was not made aware of, so I skipped playing the first. But a very enjoyable days golfing. With a modernised club house and upto date facilities this club could be a fantastic course to play and be a member of.
Foggy :)
Great course we really enjoyed it even with the heavy fog that came down lol the only down side was the greens were a bit patchy and bumpy but understandable this time of the year hope to return sometime.
Great views and fun course
Overall course is very fun to play. The Greens Keeper must be jam up as the course is in fantastic condition. I had a chance to talk with him and he is a great guy. I think his name was James. Really made me want to come back and play again. You must get an Ulster Fry and Guinness after playing.
The views are absolutely fantastic!
