Challenging course
Nice course.. Visually and mentally challenging. Will definitely play agai
Great course.
Eagle's Brooke is a great course, but somewhat difficult in that it's a hard course off the tee box. Also, many holes had a stream or whatever waste area in front of the green. Also, it would have been helpful to have a basic map of each hole either on the tee box or score card.. Bottom line, bring your A game and plenty of golf balls!
Hi Billy! Thank you for the feedback and tips. We certainly value what our golfers say. Hope to see you again soon.
course is in great condition and very tough.
First time playing this course. The rain slowed things down including my game. I'll have to play another round soon to see if it was the rain or simply me.
Thank you for the review! Sorry to hear rain interrupted your round. We hope to see you again soon.
Eagles Brooke Is Very Nice
Enjoyed the staff, the layout of the course, and the condition of the course. Only a couple holes had average Tee Boxes. All else was very good.
Fool me once
Eagle's Brooke is in the best shape I have seen it it quite some time. There is actually grass on the fairways and the greens are looking nice and healthy. My issue, and the issue I have had with this course recently, is that is is run so poorly that it makes it no fun to play. On Sunday there was a 3-some on the course that, beginning on the 2nd hole, had two groups stacked up on the tee box waiting. On the fifth hole, I called the pro shop only to find out that there was no course marshal. I pleaded for help and was send two nice cart guys. These two high school kids were able to speed up play to an acceptable pace; however, when my threesome stopped in for a coke and crackers at the turn, a foursome who didn't know which end of the club to hold onto decided to start on 10 instead of 1. The girl running the pro shop "didn't know" who they were, when they paid, anything; and offered no help. So stuck again, we finished our round at a snails pace. Utter misery. It's a shame because my group likes the course; but this sort of thing has happened far too often at this course recently. We are scrubbing this location off of our rotation of places to play. There are plenty of good tracks in the Atl area where it doesn't consistently take 5+ hours to play a round of golf.
Nice track
Played with a buddy on Tue afternoon and although it was hot it was certainly worth it. The course is in excellent shape now. The fairways are lush and green and the greens are soft and smooth. I would highly recommend playing Eagles Brooke now and especially if you can grab a deal on Golfnow.
Great Skill Test
Course is in very nice shape. Glad they made the back nine the front nine. If you hit the fairway then ball will sit up well for next shot--birdie or par strike. Ready to go at it again...swing'em good!
Disappointed
I've been playing this course for several years now. They've made some great changes with the new club house, swapping front/back 9, but there's never a ranger out checking pace of play. The fairways were in great condition, but until they get people to fix ball marks, the greens will struggle. They were very slow and spongy too. Wish I could rate it better because I love the layout.
Great Tract
This course was in very good condition as they had just sponsored a tournament. Greens were running moderately fast and true. There are numerous bunkers around the course that add extra challenges. The set-up is challenging but fair for players playing black or gold tee-box. I love the layout of the course and it is very scenic on the back side. Will definitely play it again and the prices are reasonable for such a well preserved course.
Not for high handicapped
Very hard course bring plenty of balls if you miss the fairway your ball is gone you have just lost it to the golfing gods fairways slope severely towards the woods on left and right on every hole, bunkers are horrible need big time attention, fairways have spotty hard pan everywhere, tee boxes were very nice as were the greens although extremely slow, if you don't know how far to hit off the tee you will lose that ball also, as you can't see the trouble in front of you and there ar no yardage books available. This course is for advanced golfers, beginners and high handicappers beware.
Enjoyable, challenging course
The greens and the course are in great condition. It is a must play.
Nice course
Home course . Play here once a week . Greens in good condition , pace a little slow . But challenging course for all levels

I hope this helps the staff at Eagles Brooke improve the golf experience moving forward.
I feel the price to play was very much fair. The course conditions were average for the fairways are a good bit hard and worn. The Greens were in great shape and the bunkers were fairly well taken care of. The tee boxes are in bad shape and need better care.
The part of my round that I was unhappy about begins with the fact they changed the starting tee box as the old #10 hole. The old back nine is now the front nine and sets up to be a much difficult start to your 18 hole round. Long par 5 to start the front nine and lengthy par 3 's. The old Front nine is a much better set up for the average or below average golfer.
The wait time ( tee of at 8:18am on a Sunday) was atrocious....we waited on every tee box, appraoch shot etc...There was no marshal sending golfers off on time and it seemed over booked.
Last complaint, we did not see the cart girl once. These are fairly standard expectations when going out for a round of golf and Eagles Brooke failed to succeed in meeting those expectations.
Hopefully the staff/owner pays attention to his course reviews, this golf course has a ton of potential if run correctly.

Overall course in good shape & would want to plat again. Dependent upon tees you use you make have some blind shots or shots you may need to ride up & look at landing areas. Fairways need to grow in, greens in good shape.
Great value!!!
Got a great midday rate on Golf Now. It was under 20. The course is long and challenging with many uphill and downhill shots. Many holes have creeks running down the side and splitting fairways on long par 5's or in front of the greens. I had difficulty judging the length to the creeks on tee shots and hit some balls into the creek after thinking i hit a perfect shot. (Played the blue tees 6,500 yards , Tips are 7,400)
Would suggest pictures of the layout on the score cards so that players know there is danger on some blind shots, was my 2nd time ever playing there and I did not remember where all the danger was.
The course itself was impeccable. Some bad spots like anywhere else but for the money course was top notch. Greens are fast and true. And receptive to spin on approach shots. Very nice sand in bunkers. Would play that course again for sure!!!!!!!
Awful
Course was nice, staff gossiped about mangers having an affair throughout my business meeting. My office golf day was flooded by their lack in moral code. Food was great! Last Friday the two young man in all black white males and bar tender female smelled of liquor the last time I played and had a drink with Dan James. If they can't control their staff and have better people I don' t want my office monthly golf game there.
Eagles brook
Great venue has changed things up over the past year. Course looks great and long so bring your lunch
Great Layout
This was my third time playing this course and will certainly be back for future rounds. The track was in excellent condition with a recently finished clubhouse that is immaculate. Some of the fairways are tight but not over-the-top difficult. We played from the blue tees which will require some thought about club selection on a few of the par 4s. The greens are nicely framed, and large enough to give you a solid opportunity to score. I highly recommend this course.
Eagle Brooke golf 4/24/2015
Had a great time, temp was a little cold for our 7:24 tee time, but it was fun. The condition of the course was almost at 90% recovered from fertilizing the greens. Great outing.
We are glad to hear you enjoyed Eagles Brooke and that you will be back to play again! Thanks for the review!
