Good value for money.
Great public course for the money. Course in great condition. Highly recommend.
Good Course for the money
Fair test of golf. Course in great condition. For a public course its kept well. Would recommend.
Greens
Great public course, but the greens were not the best, definitely go back and hopefully the greens improve into the summer.
An unknown gem of a course
This is a superb golf course. It is immaculately maintained and poses a real challenge for the average golfer. It Is a public course.Dublin city is really lucky to have. I would recommend it to any golfer of any ability. It is incredible value and a hidden gem of a course right beside Dublin airport.
Pleasant in good weather
Played here once in winter and thought I’d never go back. It’s actually very nice in the summer. Greens were a bit slow but true. Some nice holes. Not too challenging but used all clubs
Friendly staff
The course is quite ordinary and would not be something of a challenge. Not in the best of condition but passable.
Good Course and Good Value
A nice parkland course , in a great location just off exit 1 of the M50 Southboud. Still a bit of work being done on the course with 1 hole out of play and some fairways still growing. A well kept course but a tad hard to follow for first time players.
The course was not in the best shape after a long harsh winter. However, it was annoying that i could not use my valid Golfnow voucher.
Sincerely, Jason Corcoran
Greens sorted
Played this course a few months ago, the greens where terrible , the greens this time where very good, the course is in great condition for a public course, very good value for money
Slow start, enjoyable day
As often the case, Silloge is busy and seems to be double-booked, pair behind had same time as us. Considerable wait to tee off, but once started pace ok.
Silogue golf
This course is long and difficult for beginners but most enjoyable to play
the course is a very open course. only thing I bring into question is the condition of the greens they were in really bad shape.
Good Experience
Course was in good condition. Read that the greens where not in great condition. They weren't perfect some patch's but they will probably be perfect in around two weeks. Good roll on them. The course was in great nick and got it at a good great. Great value for money and perfect day for it. As a public course and the price hard to beat.
Terrible greens
Played this course many times over the years and always enjoyed it, but this year never seen the greens so bad, ruined the game, hope they get them sorted soon, wudnt book it again-in the near future, rather pay the extra money and go else where.
I live right beside it 5 mins its a very good course..
Disappointed
I've played the course many times. It's a really nice course for high handicappers like me (20) and I've always enjoyed playing it. This time however, while the rest of the course was in really nice shape the greens were really terrible. there were bald patches - literally - no grass! - all over every green and they were really hairy and slow where they weren't bald. A pity - this used to be a good advertisement for public golf.
Wet Wet Wet
This course was soaking. It doesnt hold weather well so I would advise to avoid if there has been any recent rain
Couple of greens were unplayable. Greens showing signs of being played on in awful weather. Hoping they can fix them before summer but some bad management being practised
Poor greens
2 ball stuck behind competition 4 balls. Nice course with some challenging long holes, open and well kept fairways. Unfortunately, clay based greens were squishy under foot and scoured with divots, which spoilt the round. Nigh impossible to find a straight putt but will try again in the summer. Holes 3 & 4 not in play.
