Worst greens ever
I know it's winter but these were the worst greens I ever played on. Holes everywhere in greens and they were a total joke.
Sillouge
A good test when the wind is up ! Scoring difficult but a good test. Greens in good condition well maintained ccourteous
Green staff no slow play an enjoyable round of golf. Saving par on the 18th a bonus.
soggy but good
This a medium course, but long. Not really many challenges. Good scenery, not a good time to play there, it was muddy. Well worth the money to play
This course is mainly flat with generous wide fairways and any bunkers are away from the greens!!
We teed off at 8.44 am and there were no delays in
completing our round. However the ground staff were
cutting grass and also trimming hedges around the course but waited for us to take our shots when we were close by. On completing our round the Air Compresser units were not working and would have been very helpful as there was a lot of grass on our shoes and trollies after all the grasscutting taking place.
Greens need improvement
Overall the course was great but greens were very infuriating. Different grasses growing on them meant putting was a lottery. Lovely open course enjoyed it otherwise
Solo Practice Round
The course is in very good condition. No water to contend with that I could see and a nice open feel to the course. Most of the holes seemed fairly short. I used the occasion to have a practice round and found it ideal. The Driver can certainly be let loose without fear on a number of holes which was nice. Kept the same ball all round which was a new thing for me. Enjoy!
Recommended for Learners
I first started to play this course in April 2014 when I took up the 'long' game. I found it to be ideal for my skill level and have almost reached my target I set for the year's end. I'd recommend this course to any golfer, but especially new players starting out in the game. Silloge has all the challenges of golf except a water feature and fairway bunker. Easy to get to by public or private transport. A driving range added would be a great asset.
Good day out
Had a very good day weather was good course was very well maintained would highly recommend this course to anyone that has never pleyed it before
Excellent value for money
A lot of rain fallen the previous day so cource was very soft in places as expected, you won't see better greens any were else , really well maintained
This course is very open and quite flat
This course is very open and quite flat in most parts but the fact it was not that busy on a saturday morning made for a more enjoyable experience
nice par three
Well maintained.greens could be a little better if people fix all there divots. With a pitch repairer.little open in places. But the index1 and index2holes are two super holes.couple of nice par3s..not bad for 15euros I got it for.but would not pay any more than 25euros.
nice/local but a bit of a let down
this course is open woodland style and suits rookies like myself, some water features could be introduced to beef up the challenge, a point of let down was young lads runnning across the course (not players) picking up balls left right and centre and then trying to sell them to golfers. This enraged our group and looks like it may be a regular thing at this course as the lads seemed to know where to be going. anyway it ruined the round to be honest, especially as we had been looking forward to a good game all week,I havent had this carry on anywhere else.
The course is extremely well maintained . Greens and fairways excellent .
Our 3 ball really enjoyed this course as we always do . The condition of the greens and fairways were better than a lot of courses we have visited over the past couple of years . The tee boxes were moved forward a good bit but that i suppose is understandable at this time of year .
Course great value for money
Greens in pristine condition for a public course. Winter tees in operation but no disruption to length of nearly all holes. Best value course on site
super course
the play was a bit slow but other then that the course was in great nick very well mantaned iv played here a few times now and will be back
