Legendary Run Golf Club
About
Golf architect Arthur Hills designed the Legendary Run, an affordable facility that offers country club-caliber golf in spic-and-span surroundings and with what management calls "the friendliest service in the world." Scottish links golf courses inspired the front nine of the golf course, which sits on 200 acres of land and features six lakes, and holes are named accordingly: Troon, St. Andrews and Turnberry, for some examples. It's a different story on the back nine, which weaves through woods and was influenced by holes closer to home, such as those found at Augusta, Winged Foot and Shinnecock.
Book two weeks in advance to ensure you get on for a round on the Legendary Run golf course, and leave your metal spikes at home - there's no reason to worry, as, conditions permitting, you can take your golf cart off the path if necessary. A far cry from Cincinnati's recreational golf courses, this one requires a collared shirt (mock, if you must) and non-denim pants (shorts work, too). The pro shop will dress you if need be.
A bonus for eco-thinking golfers: The Legendary Run counts itself among the members of the Audubon Sanctuary Program and enforces respect of the natural habitat.

nice course-strange policy
One of my favorite courses in Cincinnati area. Course is in nice shape.
However we ran into a strange policy that disappointed me. They are apparently running some type of promotion where you get a free lunch with 18 holes. Discovered this when the twosome playing with us gave the lady two tickets to pay for there lunch. we paid cash for ours as we had no tickets. She said go talk to pro shop about it. Checked with them after the fact and found out if you book with GolfNow they "sometimes"don't give out the lunch tickets.
Would have appreciated a cart girl, it was a very hot day
Pace of play
Pace of play was terrible. I have played here plenty of times and never had an issue until today. We were held back on the front nine and the back nine. The gentlemen working told the guys on the front nine to speed up but they never did. They were going to peoples condos and saying hi. It was an older crowd but they need to play to their skill then. Great course great club house and people working. But the older crowd that plays the course don’t care about the pace of play.
No signs
Only one complaint for this course. No signage to direct you from hole 9 to 10. It’s a ride with many paths and very no signs found. We had to stop maintenance crew for directions.
Awesome Day for Golf
Excellent Conditions at a great course with outstanding service...
WOW!!
I’ve always heard great things about this course and they were spot on! Great layout that was challenging but fun! The course is located inside of a beautiful neighborhood. Brand new carts were awesome and even came with bluetooth and speakers if you’re into music while you play. Staff also took great care of us. Well worth the green fees, I will definitely be back!
Great Course & Phenomenal Arthur Hills Design
I have not played Legendary Run in about 10 years. It is a fabulous layout & everything is in great condition for this time of years. Greens still have mixed grasses growing on them. If the new Supt. Weeds this out, it will be best layout in Cincinnati.
Great layout
The course is getting a lot of play and it’s condition is suffering. I would recommend the course for the layout but not in the best shape
Great time
even though i got rain out after 9, and i have no idea how to do rain checks from golf now, i would golf at this course every day if i could. Beatiful course and layout.
Really nice, really slow.
Great course, it just took 5 hours to play which is not acceptable.
