West Fork Golf & Country Club

West Fork has become one of my favorite go to courses, these past few months. I am quite pleased with the progress the new management has made to improve course conditions, the greens are quite improved from the condition they were in a year ago with some deceint putting speed and consistent roll.

The pace of play was very slow. It took an hour and ten minutes to play three holes. There were no Marshalls to keep the pace of play moving.

Course was in good shape in spite of the recent rains. Greens have really improved and fairways were very playable. Great value for your money...

Have played several times since revisiting West Fork and very pleased with the progress of the course condition and greens. I have made this course a regular visit on my playing list.

A lot more bang for the buck! Greens a little fast and course has its spots but for the price/pace/course it’s a fantastic value! Will definitely be back!

Brent at the front desk is always very courteous, friendly, and and efficient. Rangers are also courteous and friendly.

West Fork for years had been one of my favorite courses to play . About a year ago between flooding and other problems their greens became very hard to play . But now they are making a come back ! Are they where they want them to be . Probably not but they are definitely worth giving another look . I hope they keep working to make this a great course . Today playing the course watching a hawk fly overhead I was reminded why I love this course . Unlike other courses cut through sub- divisions this course is so scenic as it cuts through the pine trees with homes on only the last three holes. The staff at West Fork is always friendly , kind, and welcoming . I would like to make one suggestion and that's they cut the brush and lower limbs around the lake leading to the deck . It would be nice to be able to have a clearer view of the lake and driving range from the deck while enjoying drinks . Thanks Will Mattern

There are some tough holes, but a lot of this is due to potholes and bumpy greens. Grasses are not well maintained, there are lots of wet spots and putting greens have weeds. Otherwise the layout and property is nice and the staff very friendly. Not too busy, good practice course.

I enjoy playing at West Fork because the staff is great. Everyone playing is friendly and it’s a fun course with a great deal of wildlife. Deer, Armadillos, Squirrels, Nutria’s and an Alligator.

Played West Fork Golf and CC today had a 10:50 T-Time weather was fantastic today, let me start off by saying that this is the 3rd time playing the course and I was very pleased with the condition of the fairways and greens the staff has made very noticeable improvements on the whole course. I played the course about a year back and it was not in very good shape at all, but now I am going to make it a part of my routine courses that I will play on at least twice a month. Keep up the good work on the course improvements I will be back with my playing partner for sure.

About 6 months ago a friend and I played here and the course was not so great. Someone told me that major improvements had made so I decided to check it out. I have played 3 times in the last 10 days and I love it.The fairways are beautiful and the greens are much better. It is the best value in this area in my opinion. Great weather for golf.

Be prepared the greens are slow and bumpy. Fairways are in good condition although they are trying to eradicate some of the native grasses. Staff is friendly as always and course is challenging as ever. So Have fun and enjoy the ride........
