Fair
everything seems to be in front of you, typical Florida layout
Nice layout, beautiful views, lots of wildlife
A challenging course in a beautiful wildlife setting. New clubhouse features good food and stocked pro shop
Very fun day
Enjoyed this course. Only down was the practice facility where we had to hit balls into the water. Course was fairly tight as you had to be concerned with other golfers hitting into you on a few holes.
If you got the money go.
Third time I “try” to play this course and I can’t finish 18 holes pace of play is terrible the starters get bribed into letting people jump from tee times to tee times. There is no staff on course and when you are paying 57 dollars to play 18 holes.... I want to finish and play all 18. There was a group of 5 in front today. 2 carts 4 peoples and a walker that paid off the manager and starter to play and have a kid caddie for her. Rediculaous and really upset. Then at 6 with daylight left I was told I can’t play the 18th hole because they are closed well if they didn’t have such terrible starters that wouldn’t have been an issue.
Friendly staff great course layout
I love this place. Big Jim in the clubhouse always has some great golf jokes and the course is fantastic for the money
Although lots of rain, the course drained well
Played not long after 3 days of heavy rain and the course surprisingly was very playable. Always enjoy playing this course!!
Put this course on your "list to play"
Very enjoyable round. Greens among best I've played in S Florida. Warning -- lots of false fronts/backs/sides of greens many of which are not apparent unless you viewing from a curtain angle. Front-nine I'd rate 4-star, back nine 4.5-star because it's a more compelling design with lush vegetation. "Hot deal" generated a compelling value
Hidden Gem
Enjoyed the round; played with two other gentlemen had a very enjoyable day.
Challenging golf and beautiful views
The course offers challenging holes plus lots of wildlife
We really enjoy this course
My wife and I really enjoy playing this golf course. The layout is interesting and the ambiance good. Some holes are challenging and others not so much. The course is fairly open and golfer friendly with a few exceptions. We usually see alligators and lots of birds.
High prices!
We have been playing this course for over 20 years. Love the course, and it's in great condition. They have recently built a new club house, and apparently are paying for it by raising all of their prices. $26.75 for a 6 pack of domestic beer, and that was buy 5, get 1 free! Last year with the old club house it was $15.00! They also had an upper level with the old club house that had seating outside that overlooked the course. It was nice to relax and have a drink after our round. The new one has an upper balcony, but no seating up there, due to it being their banquet facility. They have also raised the golf rates. There are many courses within 20 minutes of here with much more reasonable rates. Love the course , but not with these prices. If you can get a deal, it's worth it, but not at full price.
Absolute must play
Arrived almost 2 hours early because I was in the area prior to my tee time. Hit the range and the starter asked if I wanted to go out early with a 2 some and said sure. Course is absolutely gorgeous. There isn't a blemish from tee to green. Tee boxes are great, fairways are nice and greens are perfect. Extremely fast I will add. Tight course for the most part but very gettable. Don't play crazy and play smart and you will shoot a nice number. Played the tips as I always do and it was great hitting irons off the tee sometimes vs driver's. Must must must play this course. Will absolutely be back very soon
Awesome track
Really spectacular condition. I don’t think I saw a single bare spot. Tough but fair.
Shot makers type of course
This is a nice track, with a tough layout. There are plenty of dog legs both left and right, as well as plenty of water. You have to make quality shots to put yourself in a position to score well. The rough is just that, rough. You will most likely have to fight the wind too. Play from the fairways, and you have a chance for birdie, or par. From the rough, you're playing for bogey.
