Not the best way to spend $80 in the IE.
Course was boring, pace of play was criminally slow, no marshall in sight. Greens were 6/10. Tee boxes were 5/10. I’d rather play El Prado or even Green River at this price.
1st time and enjoyed it.
Staff was pleasant and informative. Course was in good condition except the tee boxes were not consistently flat. Pace of play was as expected for a Friday late morning and a really good rate. Recommended.
Nice simple but still intereseting course
A little too close to houses around the course.
It is some what easy by the length of holes.
A few holes are overlap too much but they do fence the tee box to prevent any accidental foul balls.
I will not spend too much on this course due to its safety and short holes.
It is a interesting course to play if it is discounted otherwise, will not drive half hour to golf.
I score my first under 80 this year but after add 2 due to the par of this course is 70 not 72. I am still not breaking 80.. ha
Great features
1st time playing here, I Loved the layout of the course ..Very nicely kept ..looking forward to my next visit real soon
Could Not Finish with 12:40 TeeTime
We had a terrible experience here mainly due to the pace of play. We booked a 12:40PM teetime on a Saturday. When we got to the 2nd hole, I couldn't believe there were 2 groups of foursomes ahead of us waiting to tee off. Every single hole, there was a minimum of 5-10 minute wait. What made it worse was that they enforced the carts to be returned by 4:30PM. It ruined our weekend. They did a terrible job managing the pace of play - they must have known that they overbooked - very inconsiderate of the players who pay a lot of money to enjoy their weekends. I cannot recommend this course to anyone..
Ridiculous pace of play.
This course would be decent if you could spend your time and money actually playing golf instead of waiting on every hole praying that a good Marshall will actually do something about the pace of play. They overbook and could care less if you have a 5 hour day. For a 5800 yard course, it's flat out ridiculous that they allow this. Come on Upland Hills, hire a Marshall ! You raised your prices, now step up the quality. And btw, put some sand in your bunkers too. Many of them need work.
Fun course
Fun course, a little chilly in the morning but once the sun rises everything is good. Fairways are a little beat up but greens are in decent shape
Good for working on short game
Overall a nice course that is narrow, short but challenging. They have newer golf carts that allow you to order food which is a nice touch but gps was inaccurate. The bunkers were hard as a rock except for hole 9. Otherwise fairways were nice and greens were well maintained. It’s on the pricier side for a course of this quality.
Great 👍
Great course good lay out good customer service shop and restaurant love to play back again
Watch out for hole 3 shenanigans.
Two Mondays in a row there is a high school team that monopolizes hole 3 for their approach shots and just expects everyone around them to move on to hole 4. The first time I moved on which sucks cuz I only play 9 and got cheated out of a legit score. Second time I play the hole and made them move out of the way. I wish the course Marshalls would step in as this isn’t right. My some played HS and they never just stood on one hole. I would be ok if when each golfer come by they let us play the hole, but to tell us to move on, uh I don’t think so. I paid to play 18.
Good value not crowded
Started at 3:00pm and finished 18 holes exactly before dark, much better than other courses which normally can only finish 9 holes for the twilight tee time
Fun course but houses on nearly every hole
Very narrow with houses on both sides of the fairways. Pace of play isn't great but it's not as bad as most courses in LA county/Inland Empire. Clubhouse is great and carts have GPS and speakers. Overall fun public CC.
More Challenging than you’d think
UHCC isn’t a long 18 but it’s a narrow one. Won’t make use of Driver a whole lot but it’s a great course to work on accuracy. Restaurant is awesome too.
Just need to be better about enforcing pace of play.
Upland Hills County Club
Upland Hills is a great place for working on your fine tuning your golf shots, from your driver to the short game!
Golfers that can play their shots in the fairway and work your irons to the pin do play the course.
However, if you’re not comfortable enough hitting it with some certainty please be advised that the homes are all around on a lot of the golf holes!!
Staff whether in the Pro Shop, the ground staff or the 1906 cafe are great!
