Love this course
Played here on a tip from a friend and really enjoyed the course. You can make the course as hard as you want by changing tee boxes. The 2 par 5's on the back nine are as good as anywhere. A little off the beaten path, but worth the effort.
Gem in the middle of nowhere
This course is truly remarkable. I can’t believe it still exists because of such little amount of play. It is in the middle of nowhere but is totally worth the drive. We come here every time we visit St. George Island. The course conditions are fantastic and the layout is very challenging. It is not long, but you better hit it straight. Great value. Great course.
Fun, Tough course
This was the 4th time playing this course and it is just as tough as the 3 previous rounds. You must use course management to the fullest extent all while needing pin-point accuracy. The course is beautiful itself and the staff is very attentitive while also laid back and definitely want their customers to feel welcome and want to return. I will be returning to this course as long as I keep vacationing in the area.
Target Golf - Aim Well!
SJB weaves its way through nature on the Forgotten Coast. Nice not to have homes lining the fairways. Holes though are bordered by that same nature. If you're off, you're gone. Many holes also have nature areas in front of the tee box, then again in front of the green. So hit the target! Greens were just okay; lush but not particularly smooth. Typical water and sand for a FLA course. But like any good course, if you hit it straight you will score.
Green fees drop $10 every 2 hours from 11 AM on. Weekdays should be open, so you may want to get a tee time directly. Well maintained course with all expected amenities.
Would play again.
Staff needs customer relation training
Staff was upset we used Golfnow instead of paying them directly. They would not let us tee off early even though they had many empty tee times. They treated us like second class citizens because we used Golfnow. All the staff, even cart guys knew to shun the 11:30 tee time!
Humbling but natural beauty course
Bring plenty of your inexpensive “water” balls. Challenging off the tees to clear the native vegetation. Natural beauty and wildlife Course well maintained. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Full size range and nice rentals clubs.
Great Layout!
Great Layout, beautiful scenery, well manicured. Only negative was the greens being a little rough, but could be due to time of year and a recent aerification.
Beautiful course, very challenging! Restaurant was very good and reasonable!!! Will definitely play again!
Excellent Golf Course & Very Friendly Staff
Staff was very friendly and nice. Course had a challenging layout and was in great shape. Tight driving course, so after a few lost Titleist Pro V1's, I moved to my used collection of assorted balls.
Great Round on the Forgotten Coast
Course was in great shape. The greens had recently been sanded but were still plenty fast and rolled true. Staff was excellent as always.
Seasonably warm, helpfull, professional staff
Course was in wonderful, early spring condition.
Staff working on the course were friendly and professional. Pace was very good.
A good experience awaits you.
I could play here every day and be very happy. The course is well maintained and reasonably priced. It is remotely located and caters mainly to vacationers. A lot of forced carries so not a very good place for short hitters.
Nice course, especially for lower handicappers. LOTS of opportunities to lose shots, balls.
great golf course
Eevery year we go to west florida to the beach. I have played there every year. Very nice, interesting course. Always in great shape!
Favorite course hands down
Just a great course hidden in Franklin county. If I lived close by it would be my home course.
