Cedar Crest Golf Club
About
Cedar Crest Golf Club in Murfreesboro sprawls across rolling farmland accented with groves of mature trees. The fairways on the front nine are wide open but they become narrower and tree lined on the back nine. The greens play fast and true and they are also well conditioned. There are not many sand traps to contend with but a smattering of elevation changes throughout the golf course cause an occasional uneven lie. Seasoned golfers looking for a challenge won't find it here but what you will find is a relaxed atmosphere that is ideal for a quick, casual round that is player friendly enough for beginners. In addition to the course, Cedar Chest Golf Club offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range and a two-tiered practice green.

Look forward to playing in the future
First time playing here. Playing from the gold tee.
Nice layout with little elevation.
Greens were in great shape. Bermuda fairways are rough, but it’s to be expected this time of year.
Had a fun round and will be back.
Good course, good greens
This Greens on this course are consistent and usually in good shape. One of my favorite courses to play in the area.
Not good value for the fees
Other nearby courses in better shape and that promote faster play and for less cost.
Staff seems unhappy working at the course, especially pro shop.
Love the course, but...
This is one of my favorite public courses to play in middle Tennessee. I love the course layout and how it is all put together. However, when I played there today (Nov 7, 2021) there was an extreme amount of ball marks in most of the greens. I am aware that this is something that the course staff doesn't have much control over, but it was crazy to see all of the imperfections in the greens. This is the first time it was like this for me, but definitely something that I will remember about that round.
Like I said, I absolutely love the course layout and the value of the course at this price point. Definitely going to keep coming here in the future.
Course is in Great Shape.
The course was in great shape. The only issue we saw was on some the greens the previous golfers were not fixing their pitch marks which is completely RUDE.. Other than that the greens were really well maintained.
Good course
It’s high priced for what it is. Dreadfully slow, but it was Saturday morning and cool. Not a bad course, just over priced.
Great value, always in great shape
I have golfed at cedar crest over 10 times now and it never disappoints. Course is really well maintained for the amount of play it receives. Course has a heavy emphasis of trees coming into play, which makes it challenging for some. Overall this is one of the regular courses I go to because of the consistency and layout.
Neat little course
We had to wait about 3 hours to tee off because of the rain but aside from some casual water on the fairways, the course was in great shape. Layout was fair and not as tight as I expected it to be. Greens were smooth and consistent. I would definitely play here again
Good golf play
Course conditions are better than before and the course is fun.
