Greens are in great shape. Dont bring outside alcohol. Not crowded
Not worth our drive
The course needs a lot of work, especially for indicating where to go. A picture of each hole is necessary at the tee.
Duck Creek
The course was good but First hole had a long strip of sand 75 yards from green. Not good when you hit a good shot and it just gets stuck in sand. The pace of place was good except on the back 9 got backed up and left on the 15th 3 groups backed up. I come here because they always have times available but not my first or second choice.
Good course for the cost
The course was in pretty good shape. The greens were well maintained, but variable in speed depending on water level. Fairways were suffering a bit from the heat, but to be expected as the high later in the day I played was 108. The layout was a bit confusing and signage wasn't great on the back half, especially around 13. The "pro shop/bar" was a single wide trailer with a few racks of merchandise.
Only real complaint would be that I was in town visiting and didn't bring my clubs. Round was ~$35. Club rental was $50 and they were pretty old.
All this said, for the price and location, it's a good course to keep in practice if in the area.
Great value
The greens were in great shape. I like the double cut French. Fairways were decent. Great cars for the money.
Hot, but great busy day!
I enjoy Duck Creek. Play was slow because of some beginners in front of us but otherwise it was 6 hours for 18 holes. Great staff and beverage cart came by several times. Good hamburgers! Course conditions are because of the heat - course looks good despite that.
Great Course, No Ammenities
Really liked the layout of the course and the approach and greens were in great conditions, considering our lack of rain.
There is no club house or on course drink cart, but really good golf.
Meh
6.5 hour round. Not well run. They are trying hard and have a better setup now for drinks but overall blah experience. Tough to have fun when you watch two groups hit on every tee box before you go.
