Great course with challenging layout.
Had a great tome, staff is very friendly and helpful. Greens had a few issues but rolled well. The fairways are narrow and challenging. Great views from some of the Levite’s holes. Well worth it!
Starting
I asked the attendant where I could get my towel wet he said he would take care of it. He threw on the dirt and sprayed it with a hose then gave it back to me full of mud. Real classy. The greens totaled sucked pitch marked impossible to roll a put looks like they have zero knowledge of course management. Cost us $109 a round wouldn’t have paid $40. so disappointing. Never again.
Good value with good views.
Course was in really good shape. The layout was interesting and fun. Good views and value.
Fun, Fantastic course
challenging layout with spectacular views and great tee box placement. Just a fun afternoon in the trees.
Spectacular Surroundings - Pretty Good course
Good mountain course layout. There’s some really unique and beautiful holes out there. You just cannot beat those Copper Mountain slopes and peaks looking down on you. The greens are a mixed bag. I think if you get a hot deal this is a good value.
Shotmaking required bit a fun time in the Mountains!
Had driven by Copper Creek many times and escaped the heat in Denver with my wife to give it a go.
Warm up area is hitting nets and practice green not real reflective of the courses’ greens but staff was friendly and gave some helpful advice about the course while we waited. Paired with a couple of out of state visitors so we all got to experience it together.
Surprised by the variety of holes on the course. From mountain pines, meadows, to Dye railroad ties Defining water hazards. We had a great time navigating the course. 18 is a standout hole on the course, but the views and the backdrop on 11 are worth the drive up alone.
There are better conditioned and manicured mountain courses in Colorado, but few to none at this price range with the added bonuses of being walkable, present players with a variety of challenges, and have such a friendly atmosphere.
Will be back!
Fun course, good day
This was my 2nd time here. The check-in was seamless. The staff was warm and welcoming. The practice area is limited (hitting into nets, practice green different than the course greens, and small chipping area). They sent us off the back 9. The greens were quite speedy, supposedly 12-12.5 last week, and #13 would hardly hold a downhill putt, sending balls 30+' past off the green. Think Mickelson, here. The fairways were in good shape. The pace was good. This is probably more of an irons/woods course for its narrow windows and shorter landing areas, especially #1, 4, 8, 9, 14, & 18. The restaurant closes 5pm, so it is not helpful for later tee times. Hacienda Real in Frisco is good if you're headed east and want some food. This is a fun course that is worth playing! Enjoy!
Nice ciurse
The course was very nice in the back nine the front is noisy from the interstate.
Very fast greens
Although short, don’t let that fool you, from the correct tees this is still a very challenging course, with narrow fairways and fast undulating greens. At almost 10000ft you can struggle for breath on occasion. We were a 3 ball and pace of play was good. Staff friendly. Would recommend if in the area.
True Mountain Golf
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our inaugural round at Copper Creek getting paired with some great local guys who were gracious hosts. Our positive experience began with the friendly golf staff and finished with a most enjoyable round of true mountain golf. Thanks Copper Creek!
Can’t stop it from raining on us!
Greens wicked fast, but course is otherwise ok. A few tricked up holes but not bad overall. Wish the weather would have been better..
Labor Day play
A little slow but fun course. Think we would do better second time around!
Not a Fun Round
The first thing we noticed when we arrived at the golf course is that there are really no markings to tell you where to check-in for the course. You can see the course, but the golf shop is hidden away among the lodging units, and ski buildings. After driving around and looking we finally parked in the parking lot designated for golfers, and asked someone playing the course where to check-in. Even though we rode in a cart there is still a great deal of walking involved to play the course, and since the course has a lot of elevation changes this is not ideal for more senior golfers. When we first teed off the pace of play was fine, but after 4 or 5 holes everything got backed up, and we had to wait on almost every shot. It got so frustrating that we quit with 2 holes left to play. I would not recommend this course to other golfers.
Sorry, unfriendly management team and conditions
The management team is prejudiced against Golf Now players in an overt manner and does its best to make them unwelcome. I would not recommend this course. Further, from the putting green to the so-called driving range, the facilities are decidedly fourth class. If that is not reason enough, management policy requires play to begin on the back nine every other day and the 10th hole is a par 3 requiring 100% carry over water from tee to green. A very poor starting hole.
Front nine deceiving
The front nine had a lot more water than I expected. I hit some really good shots that to my surprise, found water. The back nine was very picturesque with a lot of elevation changes. Some beautiful holes on the back .I'd play it again with a lot different club selection.
Awesome layout!!
I love this course! Third time playing it!! Top Five in my opinion!
