Aldenham Golf Club - Church Course

Greens well protected by bunkers so long hitters have advantage.

Friendly welcome on a challenging course in good summer condition. Greens were surprisingly slow despite its pristine appearance.

Course in great condition in the summer weather.
Greens were variable in speed but in very good condition. signature hole is the 13th SI 1 long par 5.

Very good fairway and green condition without temporary winter greens even in rainy winter season. The course is flat like a parkland but some holes were challenging with a distance. This course is well fit for an intermediate and advanced players having a good long iron's shot. Asolutely value for money. Very friendly staffs and members for the visitors. We will be back to play again.

First time playing here, some challenging holes to keep you planning each shot. Tees and fairways well looked after, greens a little wet in places, but to be expected this time of year. Very nice welcome in the pro shop and bar. Will be back!

Flat and open ,long hitters will enjoy their outing.

Amazing value for money, testing track and greens in incredible condition. Friendly staff and it was nice to see the Pro out on the course checking the pace of play. Would highly recommend this course.

After looking on the website we decided to go with 18 holes on the church course.

unfortunately the fairways weren't in good shape. Patchy, damaged and in the main unplayable.

Probably one of the worst courses I've played within this price bracket. Fairways need time to repair themselves.

Would strongly recommend you keep your hard earnt cash in your pocket and pick another (probably cheaper) course.

A course worth playing

My second round at aldenham and it was better than the first .
Course was in immaculate condition as were the fairways , really enjoy the layout of this track and the test it gives with some accurate tee shots needed otherwise your blocked out on a few holes it has everything to test you , doglegs, water, tight drives .
Pro shop well stocked and friendly staff even the visitors locker room was good and clean . With wooden lockers .
Well worth a round here .
Will be back again .

not been here in 25 years ..very pretty and in great shape greens in good condition well worth the money ..definitely one of the best in the area at a good price will return soon..

I have played this course a couple of times and have always been amazed by the value for money Paid £17.00 on a bank holiday. The fairways and the greens were in excellent condition. the weather was changing with showers and ocassional cold gusts of wind.
We had the course to ourselves so played at our own pace.

The course played really well considering the lack of rain recently
No delays with club members calling us through without delay
Nice meal afterwards, with good quick food and bar service
Definatly be back again soon

First of all, let us not forget it's March and until Today we were still officially in Winter. So having said that.
This is a lovely course. If you hit the ball straight you will enjoy this course very much.
The Green keeper and staff should be commended for keeping the course in great condition. If this is how good they keep it in Winter, Who knows how fantastic it will look in Summer.
A friendly,jovial welcome by the staff and a bit of banter was great. The course was busy but not frustratingly so. Anyway, we golfers shouldn't really expect to pop round any course without some kind of trouble, either caused by those in front or ourselves.

This course was in the worst condition I've ever seen it. The pro shop prior to my booking told me it was in good condition. I've never seen it so bad. Also, some of the winter tees were in ridiculously forward positions, especially the 15th. Will not play there in the winter ever again. It doesn't weather well.
