Top class course, fantastic greens whole course is challenging for all levels

Booked for after 1pm, got there to be told only 9 holes open and would have to play twice with no trolleys allowed, asked if they couldn't of told me earlier and guy in the shop couldn't of cared less!

Let through by one group, two of us and four of them. Group of members in front wouldn't let us through because there was a group in a competition in front of them, hole 7. By hole 10 they had lost touch with the group in front. Didn't allow us through, even when looking for lost balls. Round took four hours and twenty minutes, frustrating appalling etiquette.
The round cost £28, all the greens had been spiked and treated, covered in sand, all putts bobbled and moved off line. Should have been discounted due to the state of the greens and how this affects your score.

All things considered in good condition for late February. Played midweek in the afternoon so was pretty quiet.

Great course a little gem and a pleasure to play. Greens and fairways where in great condition.

First time playing at Horsley. Great course with lots to challenge all standards of player.

Course was presented in absolutely stunning condition from tee to green. Each hole offers something new, and so many memorable holes. Was busy due to a large society , however pace of play didn't suffer.

Beer on the terrace post round overlooking the par 3 9th was a great way to finish a great day.

My new favourite course, will definitely back for more!

We played later afternoon and it was millionaires golf. Course in good condition and greens excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Golf course is in really good condition, some good holes and pace of play was really good. Well worth a visit and really good value for money.

Best last minute decision I have made for ages. Took the chance on the weather and booked a round mid morning for two persons. First impressions were really good as we drove up to the course and these only improved with each interaction. Staff were friendly and approachable, practise facilities excellent. Course was a little damp in places but only to be expected after recent weather, Course layout really good no two holes the same in succession. Each shot was a different challenge due to contours of the course and greens really made you think about your golf. Greens recovering from early year tinning and dressing but were quick and true enough. Best part of the day were tow local members who when we caught them up and we were both waiting to tee off invited us to join them for the remaining holes they were playing, this sped up our game and created a gap between our group and the ones behind, a really nice gesture. Will definitely be returning Thank you to every one at Horsley Lodge.

Good day out. An absolute downpour to 20 mins before tee time and a howling gale did not manage to dampen our enjoyment. Greens were firm and true, amazing given the rain. Super breezy also which made the whole round a good test. Pro shop were friendly and lunch in the club house after was tasty and decent value. Will be back.
