Rufford Park Golf & Country Club

Held up by 5 ball all round when asked got told they where members and in a competition is this a thing the course does as I have never seen a 5 ball in the uk before or do your members need teaching golf Etiquette??

First time visit
Great course layout , a good few trees but still quite open for any wayward drives however, shame 18th doesn’t finish in front of clubhouse instead of 9th
Greens in fantastic condition, fast and some challenging levels for all golfers
Fairways were hard and difficult to get your club under but that was down to the very dry spell we are experiencing and nothing else . I can imagine when all is green and lush this course would be a bargain at the £25 we paid
Some interesting holes not least 7 & 17 and a really long 13th (I think)
Onto the 19th ! Reasonably priced drinks and the Rufford Club Sandwich served with chips - deserves 5 stars on its own . (we did compliment kitchen staff on this)

The course has some lovely sloped greens and uneven fairways which add challenge. It's well kept and varied. Will be back.

Really decent course, good layout and every green was in brilliant condition. Some very good holes as well, lots of bunkers located around 215-235 from the tee so accuracy needed.

Very nice course, good condition, great layout.

Gets busy and seems to be a visitors course but in very good condition considering the amount of traffic it gets.

Great layout with some tough holes.

Will be paying again very soon, the 7th & 17th are amazing par 3's and worth the green fee alone.

Excellent course, bunkers could do with a good sift but disbarring that absolutely brilliant day out and value for money, would highly recommend

played here course good layout let down by a kids tournament so we teed of 1 hour late and stuck behind them 9 holes took 3 hours unable to finish our round wasn't informed this tournament was on waste of money round

nobody informed us of this at the time we made a booking resulting in teeing off nearly 40 mins later took 3 and a half hours to do 9 holes somebody should of informed us that this tournament was on

One of my favourite courses in the area! Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in excellent condition. Only spotted 2-3 rougher patches on the greens. For the price, this is an excellent course and great value for money.

Don’t miss Rufford Park if you are able to play in this area. It’s quite simply the best golf value around

The staff give you an incredibly friendly welcome (especially the wonderful Meg) and it is matched by the course difficulty, condition and beauty

Don’t expect to play to your handicap here, but you will enjoy your golf and the challenge of the variation in the journey around course, including the many elevated greens. The 17th signature hole is fantastic!! I was so very pleased to walk off with a par

Good course layout, but lacking maintenance and club amenities poor on day of visit with no discounted fees.

Wonderful parkland track. No road noise. Plenty of elevated tee shots.
Nice balcony overlooking the 9th & 18th green with your pint.

Forgot how difficult some of the holes are since I last played
But had a fantastic day out played reasonably well finished off with an excellent chip butty
