Priced Right $$
Pace of play was slow today , Aeration on the greens , but putt able. Challenging greens. Some Fairways maintenance. Overall priced Right. Not Bad
Challenging course in good shape, good pace of play, very friendly staff
I play here often,.. honest review
U1704689 is not entirely wrong., but not entirely right,. The corse needs work. The bunkers are never raked I should know I play here weekly. The trash cans are old and rusty, the carts could be in better shape, but people abuse them. However, they are putting money into the corse putting cart paths throughout at the moment, mens bathroom was just renovated , they just put a new deck on the club house. SUNDAYS!! Are a s&$! show at this corse, as they are at most corses, pace of play is slower than a snail and it’s very crowded, that is why I don’t play on Sunday. It’s an average corse with average amenities, but it’s my home track and the greens are awesome and always roll true. The rough is well…it’s rough, fairways are ok lots of down lies the whole corse needs reseed. Does the track need work yes, but I can tell you as a golfer of many trips to this corse over years they are doing work to improve it.
Over booked and over priced
We played, or better yet, tried to play a round today. We were so underwhelmed and frustrated that we drove off of the course after only 14 holes, the pace of play was so slow that it took 4.5 hours to play the 14 holes, there were no rangers on the course to speed up play, the conditions of the course were lacking to say the least, the sand traps were like concrete,
I understand that it is early in the season, but, when you are charged a full prime season rate, you expect the course to be in better shape, as for the pace of play, waiting 15 to 20 minutes at a tee box is unacceptable at any time of the year.
We will have to be extremely desperate to play here again and I don't see that happening at any time this golf season.
All season player
As an all season player, I can tell you this course needs more work than a little bit. The bunkers are never taken care of their hard as rocks. Also not all the bunkers have sand in them some are just ground up clay or dirt or something. The greens are in pretty good shape most of the year the fairways that’s a different story crabgrass everywhere grab grass on the Teebox if there is grass on the Teebox. Teeboxs also uneven . Like I said, the course needs help they are slowly, but surely putting work into the course it’s just not happening a quick rate. I play there all the time, and yet I tend to be disappointed time and time again. In my opinion, golf is hard enough already without all of these other variables on this course to hinder your game.
Nice greens but….
Overall the course needs $ to improve the conditions. Zero decent lies in the fairway or rough. Bunkers had little or no sand and the lips had not seen a weed whacker in weeks. Greens were in good shape and fast. Unfortunately whoever cuts the holes had trouble getting them in straight as many of the pins were leaning. To top it off, on a hot day no one bothered to fill the water coolers and put them into their housings on the course. They were sitting in the cart garage. Covid is no excuse as all other courses have them…
Fun course.
Apparently this course is a a year or two into an overhaul, and you can tell the work is paying off. The greens were some fantastic and challenging. Fairways in good condition except one of them which had a some bare spots but could be from over use in a dry summer. Tee boxes in good shape, bunker sand was soft and no pooled up water. Over all I’d play this course anytime.
Bluebear
Nice course for the money. Rough was thick. Needs to improve pace of play with ranger. Will be back.
