Great par 3 course
Wonderfully friendly staff and fun layout for a great price
Excellent Value
Awesome course to practice your short game. Friendly staff. Pretty decent greens for the price.
Not what it used to be
I don’t want to be too harsh on the review for the condition of the course because of all the rain inclement weather might have added to some of the problems. But bridges are closed, walkways are washed away and there’s virtually no grass on two or three holes. And only two tee boxes of the 18 were actually open, the rest of the time you hit from dirt. My hope is spring time will allow some growth to come back in, i’ve played here five or six times and it’s usually a lot of fun, and good value for the money, but not in its current condition
WILL GO AGAIN
went there and staff was awesome got on the course quick its a great place to go work on short game if your living in the city cant really beat the price overall fun time and going back again for sure
Good Short Game Practice
Cross Creek is a no frills par 3 course that is great for practicing the short game. Pace of play has been quick every time I have played the course. The staff is friendly and the conditions are okay for the price. It's a walking course and they have plenty of push-carts available to rent. If you are looking for a well manicured, impeccably maintained course, this is not for you. If you are looking for an easy, inexpensive way to practice your short-game, Cross Creek is a good spot.
Cross Creek
Had a great outing. It’s definitely a course to work on your short game, really fun and had some nice challenges to it being that I’m only 3 months in on playing.
The greens are extremely variable, so if you’re a snob in that area I wouldn’t recommend it. However, if you’re up for challenges and think that may help your putting game, highly recommend. I’m excited to see how they look in Spring/Summer given I went in December.
Would definitely play this course again. Quick play pace and a peaceful area. Can’t beat the price to get out and practice.
Cheap course for casual players
The good: Brand new to the sport and wanted some cheap practice. Good place to work on hitting irons for new players, kids, and women. Got in a nice walk and scenery is pretty. Very casual vibes. Lady working there gave me a free push cart since it was my first time and was very nice.
The bad: Don’t plan on practicing your putts. The greens were a mix of mud, sand, and weeds. Some greens were clearly trashed so they just scalped another area next to it and called it a new green. Tee boxes and fairways weren’t the best maintained. Accuracy is huge so anything off target is a lost ball in the trees or creeks.
Overall it’s a cheap little neighborhood course to practice some short irons and wedges for a cheap price. Leave putter and woods at home.
Great Deal
Some holes are sanely and lacking care but as one of the cheaper course around it’s perfect. Not super strict on tee times so it’s a nice casual play kind of place. If you are honing your under par game this isn’t your spot but if you’re an average golfer this is great for the price, especially being not far from downtown atlanta!
Great Par 3
Incredible greens. They were small and challenge your aim. Great value to play for $20. And zero hassle getting parking, starting, etc. Very friendly staff.
Friendly Staff and Fast Pace of Play, but You Get What You Pay For
$22/each for my buddy and I to be in out in ~2 hrs at 8am on a Sunday with no one in front us….hard to beat that. The staff were extremely friendly and made for a really welcoming experience. The downside, however, was the course conditions. It was in really, really bad shape. The greens were being aerated, and almost all of the la were basically sandpits, so working on your putting was useless. I’m sure in the course was in good condition, it would make for a really relaxing, chill, quick-to-play 18 hole executive par 3. I’ll probably be back if I’m looking for a fast round before starting my workday
Fun par 3 course. Great value
Really fun par 3 course with distances ranging from about 70 to 150 yards. Nice challenge and great scenery. Greens were in good shape. Great value.
Great for short game practice - amazing price for ITP
Got a “Hot Deal” for $20 on GN on a Saturday at 8:45 for a golf course ITP? So my expectations were extremely low.
Got to play as a single all by myself. The course was empty that early. Only one 2some ahead of me on the whole course, so pace of play was great. Played 2 balls on each hole.
Tee boxes were awful, some grass but mostly hard packed sand. All par 3’s. So the fairway didn’t matter much, but in decent shape. On and around the green was ok, but good for as much rain as we have had lately.
Honestly, I paid $20 for 1 hour 45 mins worth of fun golf by myself!. I got to work out some parts of my game. It was truly a great deal.
You DO NOT need to bring more clubs than 7,8,9 PW and putter. Holes are right next to each other, so not a lot of walking. But a lighter bag is always helpful.
Affordable and Fun
Great little par 3 course in a quiet Buckhead community. Argo in the clubhouse is extremely helpful.
