A good second choice to play golf with my son on a Sunday afternoon. Even though the course was WET, the course was still in decent shape. Very friendly and helpful staff. We be back once it dries out
Great Greens
The greens were in great condition and playing at a great speed. Considering the lack of rain the area has received over the past 8 weeks the course was in very good condition.
Great course
First time I played this course and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am from Ohio but will play again when I return to the area.
Great Course
I thoroughly enjoyed my round of golf at Harbor Club. The course was challenging enough and the sand traps were strategically placed.
July review
A fine layout routed through the woods with adequately wide fairways and large greens. There are numerous lake views making it a picturesk and challenging golf course.Conditioning is usually excellent.
Best Course I have played
This course popped up as I was looking somewhere to play a round on my way back to South Carolina from Atlanta. The cost was reduced due to recent aerification of the greens but honestly that did not matter to me because I was looking for a course with a great layout etc. The folks in the pro shop and cart guys were okay but met a couple of resident members and they were super friendly.
The greens still rolled fast and true and can only imagine what they are like normally. The fairways were awesome and my overall experience was very positive. I will definitely be back to play this course soon and will bring friends next time to enjoy as well!
Great Course for real golfers
If you want to play real golf, play here. It is hilly and most of the greens are elevated.
Golf Now Harbor Club
The course was in good condition although the bunkers needed consistent sand. I was not pleased with the beverage girl. She was out of food when she finally got around to us.
Short notice tee time change
Got a call night before the tee time changing it with no option. They put us into the heat of the day after we had pre booked and paid.
Excellent Experience & Price!!!
Beautiful course, always a treat to play. Staff is awesome.
A nice course but not on the same level as other area courses
Harbor Club is a nice course. Well-maintained, well-designed, good fairways and greens, and nice staff. If it wasn't for the other great courses in the Lake Oconee area, this would be a solid destination course. But the other courses are a legitimate comparison and as such, this course is second tier compared to them.
To their credit, they know they can't compare with the Reynolds courses or Cuscowilla for that matter. So they are content to offer a wonderful golf community and a nice golf experience. This may not be the course you brag about to your buddies but it will be one that you enjoy playing and may even get a chance to brag about your good score as it is not s difficult as the other area courses.
Harbor
The course was in great shape. Definitely has some tuff holes. Beautiful course layout. We’ll definitely be back!
Like all the courses in Reynolds Plantation, Harbor Club is awesome! Probably the friendliest staff ever and the best greens I have ever played on.
Great day for golf
A friend and I played during his spring break from work. Course was challenging. Greens were extremely fast. Talked to someone who was a member and they said they weren’t usually that fast. I will definitely play this course again. The staff were very kind and helpful. 1st Class experience.
Slow and in poor shape.
Took my dad here for his birthday. Rough was dead and the greens hadn’t been cut in ages. Took us 5 hrs to play 18 holes. Price was also very high. Staff was very nice, but would have rather gotten my money back than played this course again.
Excellent course
I enjoyed this course very much. It was a bit of a hike from my home in Atlanta but worth the effort. The greens were sanded recently which was a bit of a downer but otherwise the course was in excellent shape.
Although still rather pretty, I expected a little more given the location of the facility on Lake Oconee. No complaints though overall.
First time playing
Good course. Not a lot of water views as would be expected for a course on the lake. Course was in good condition. Only drawback was that they were preparing for a member function that was not disclosed and needed the course to be cleared by a certain time. You would think they would have rangers out there to maintain a swift pace of play, but not the case. All in, harbor club (at twilight) is a good value for an alternate to Reynolds plantation.
