The front 9 is relatively easy with a few challenging hole, the back 9 is lot harder and requires strategy. the green on the back are in great shape and the front is getting better.

They have set of loaner clubs for free.

I used to frequent Cedar Lake all the time up until late Sept. last year. The greens were really in bad shape and have not gone back since. Well LOW AND BEHOLD..............the greens on this past weekend were REALLY GOOD and fast as I have ever seen them. If you have not been out to this course in awhile, you might want to put this course back in your rotation. However, it was very crowded but I will DEFINITELY put this course back in my rotation. Great job for turning things around Cedar Lake!!

I have played Herr several times. It can get crowded on the weekend which can slow the pace of play. It's no big deal to me as I play to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. There are all types of golfers here and everyone is friendly. I'm comfortable bringing my 11 year old son to hit a few of the tee. They only charge kids under 18 half their age to play. The course is in great shape and had some challenging holes thatI make it a great course for all skill levels. t's a great value and fun place to get in a round.

Played with a buddy of mine and had a 1:20 tee time. However because of the backed up style of teeing off this course has we did not tee off until around 2. The course does not manage heavy traffic days AT ALL! At the first tee there is basically a line of carts waiting to tee off. There is no separation within these tee offs and people basically wait until the group in front of them is close to the green and then go. This creates a horrible experience for those who play with ANY kind of pace. We had to wait to hit EVERY shot and finished just in time for the sunset at 7pm!!! I will probably never go here again on the weekend!!

The clubhouse does not adequately space out each group. It is just line up and tee off. The marshal is no where to be found during the tee off and all the course cares about is how many carts they have in circulation.

Great course for the price. We got lucky and had great pace of play on a Sunday morning round. Once the greens dried out, they were nice. Love the open layout, only lost 1 ball I think.

Nice course. Friendly people. No pressure from those who are BETTER than others. The relaxing round that you expect everywhere else you go.

I had a great time. Fun and challenging course. The fairways are nice and wide. Bunkers and water hazards make the course challenging.

I've played this course a few times. It is in great shape with very nice greens. The greens are not super fast nor are they slow. They seem to be just the right speed. The course has some challenging holes. The staff are very friendly. I will definitely play here again!

Beautiful course. The 17th hole is awesome. A lake nestled in the rock makes a wonderful background for a relaxing day of golf.

It was an interesting layout, a nice mix of wide open landing areas to fairly challenging shots. Unfortunately, the greens were the slowest I have ever seen...anywhere. This was really surprising since we played an afternoon round after the morning club championship took place. First, and probably the last time on this course. Hard to recommend with all the other decent courses in the area.

TOTALLY AWESOME EXPERIENCE ON WEBSITE AND AT COURSE. WILL BE USING GOLFNOW FOREVER. COURSE IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE STAFF IS OVER THE TOP FRIENDLY.

Cedar Lake's fairways are generally wide enough to not lose a bunch of balls during a round. Its got a great mixture of difficult to easy hole layouts. Most of the time its not so crowded that you don't want to go because of waiting in between each shot. Its well maintained, the clubhouse is comfortable with a nice assortment of food and drink. Go play there, I'll bet you like it.

Being from Southern California and not knowing where to play in our new home town my son and I were very impressed. Cedar Lake is 10 minutes from our house and has all the amenities we need. Good driving range, nice practice chipping area and good putting green. The course is in great shape although the tee boxes were a little long. But with all the rain, Bermuda Grass, and not a hot as normal temps its to be expected. I am 8 HCP and my son is a 17 HPC we both had fun. The staff was great.

This course was fantastic. As soon as I got there my cart was ready and the staff were very friendly...my gps had given me incorrect directions but when I called the clubhouse they gave me easy to follow directions that got me there a few minutes late but because of the rain no one was behind me.
It had rained heavily as some early morning thunderstorms had rolled thru so the course was wet and the greens were slow during the first 9 holes or so but then they dried very quickly and so they lost a couple of feet on each put as the round went on.
This was my first time at this course but the fairways were easy to navigate and challenging enough par 5's. I birdied one of the par 3's. The water hazards are tough enough...I think it was the 11th hole that had you thinking course management. You would have to lay it up short of the creek and then make a nice high shot to a sloping green. Its a bit soggy close to the creek.
I would recommend this course to anyone. I will be going back there again as the first nine holes was one of my lowest scores.

I have always enjoyed playing here. The staff is very laid back and friendly, which you don't find everywhere. The course is well maintained, but not so much that your afraid to use it!
