Get your carts and staff in order. My group was told we needed to walk when there was 8 carts available the entire time. Clown show all around. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Worst 40 dollars on golf ever spent. Course is a joke, and in terrible condition. It’s fine to not have a great course, but don’t charge that much to play it.

It was fun to play a Cook County Forest Preserve golf course. It was in decent condition and the pace of play was good. It’s not a hard course so, it’s great for new players and people that just want to have a casual round of golf.

Decent quality for price. There could work on reopening the mid course booth and sell some food. I liked that you can purchase “rescue” golf balls there for a good price.

Overall a great course for the money. Pace of play can get unusually slow, but that is more due to the short par 4’s and who is in front of you, rather than the course itself.

You tee off turf mats similar to a cheap driving range. The fairways are in terrible shape and the holes are short and crammed together. Several holes have trees over-hanging the tee box. Just in brutal shape. Not worth the money.

This course needs a lot of work. There are no grass tee boxes, instead they have astroturf mats, which are nearly impossible to hit off of. The greens and fairways need a lot of work. For the state that the course is in charging $45 is way to steep. I have played most of the forest preserve courses and this one by far is my least favorite.

The course charged me for a power cart and did not tell me, so I paid for a pull cart. When I saw the price on my credit card, I called them, and they said the cart / walking rate is the same, so that they didn't overcharge. I tried to explain that I wouldn't have rented a pull cart if I had known I was charged for a power cart, but they were inflexible and would not refund the difference.

Generally, the course conditions are terrible, you tee of mats, the holes are crammed together, the design is plain. I think this course is really only a fit for someone who just got good enough to play something harder than a par 3 course. Other than that, you will have a terrible time. It was my least enjoyable round of the year.

This course is in bad shape. Fairways are not well maintained With a lot of dead grass and your ball might end up in a pile of sticks if not hit on the fairway. This courses only saving grace is that the greens are in much better shape than they used to be and the staff is pretty friendly. Only way I would play here again is if they drop the price below 25 bucks like it used to be

Someone should have told us that the greens were aerated with big holes. NOT COOL to not disclose

Hadn’t golfed here in years due to pace of play and course conditions. Gave it a shot. Course still in poor condition and starter had a 6 some in front of us and said it was no big deal for a Saturday morning. Wouldn’t golf here again if it was $10. Staff was laughingly unhelpful. Won’t be playing here again and I recommend you save money and don’t play here either.

This course is in absolute terrible shape. I get that it’s short and that the fairway isn’t necessarily needed on most holes but there could still be grass and not dirt and the holes where a fairway is needed was non existent. $40 for this course is an absolute rip off. Hitting off range mats? Really. ? The tee boxes were weeds and dirt. Terrible. Shut this place down before it’s convicted of highway robbery for charging that price.

Starter put us behind a six some who played “best ball” but really didn’t. They were taking forever to play. Waited almost 15 minutes for every hole. Nice course, but they can’t have a six some play on course.
