Deerpath Golf Course

Course is always great to play. It’s always a question did you catch a good tee time were the players in front of you are not slow. It’s not a long course, 6200 or 6300yds. Players need to understand, play the tee box that fits your game. Don’t play the tips if you can’t drive it 200yds, just saying.

Play here at least once per year. Had a good time with the people we were paired up with. Greens could have been in better condition but over all not too bad - just very fast! Love playing different courses for the challenge.

We’ve played here a handful of times in recent years. It’s an old no-frills course in good condition. There are a few holes you have to play multiple times to understand the routing, and there’s no GPS on the carts to help. Last time, a ranger gave us a hard time about pace when we were only 3 holes in, but we never saw a group behind us all day.

-- There are a lot of small landing areas off the tees -- unless you are a precise ball striker, you could get in trouble easily.

Very nice course in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Very green course and they take care of their bunkers (I tend to find the bunkers a lot). Very friendly staff as well. Overall a very, very good experience and solid value! Will be back.

Hot and humid today but the course is in great shape and the greens were perfect. The pace of play was good and the only complaint was the cart girl passed us twice on her rounds. :( LOL

love this place! Range, chipping area, nice layout with fairly wide fairways. Considering summer heat, course was in nice shape. Pace of play was great 2nd time here again. Good value
