Reviews
Good course for the $15
Course layout was a little confusing at times, could've maybe been marked better. I'm certainly no Lewis and Clark. Short course, so great for the short game. I really enjoyed the par three's. Fairway and green conditions were average. Pretty much had the place to myself, so no issues with pace. Staff was very friendly. Not a fan of the gas powered golf cart, especially when it's hit the pedal, wait five seconds, then go. Overall an enjoyable experience though, definitely worth the $15 green fee.
Great early season golf
Took my grandson to play. That in itself was a joy but this little course was a gem! Good condition for this early in the season. Scenic layout with moderately challenging holes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even the other players were courteous and encouraging. Hope this place can prosper in today's difficult market. This a what amateur golf is about. Also the price was right!
friendly buiteful scenery
course is well maintained with a great view of the country, each hole has its own challenges.
Very disappointed
I have played at this course numerous times. This time it was in terrible shape. Fairways were patchy and the greens were terrible. Greens hadn't been mowed and they were also very patchy. I won't be back.
good course
first time at Cardinal Hills. Conditions were average but its way early in the season. Nice scenic lay out. Will return when the weather gets better.
We are going to "Play it Again"
First time to Play this course.. We enjoyed the layout and the condition. You need to place your tee shots correctly.. and be exact with your approach to the greens. We are already planning a return trip. The fall colors should add to the experience.
Always friendly staff
Play here 3-4 times a year. Family owned, good effort at maintenance. Holes range from easy to challenging. Would recommend- good value.
2nd time here
Hospitality was great. We have had a hot and humid summer with plenty of rain. Weeds are a bit of a problem but that is common in our area right now. Will definitely return again.
Friendly, not crowded,
Very friendly reception. Starter explained some of the course idiosyncrasies that helped with our round. Played at a good pace and enjoyed the course scenery.
this is one of the friendliest place you will ever go to play golf
People are excellent and friendly. You can tell they want you to have a good experience.
Course layout is a little challenging. Some holes you can't see you drive off of the box.
The greens tee boxes and fairway are in great shape. Thank you for a great day of golf.
Beautiful setting
First timers will be challenged with holes 10, 12 and 13. Hills, slanted fairways, and lakes make it fun. Staff were all very nice. We would return.
No fairways, super dry
Played the course after getting a great Hot Deal, so I can't complain too much. However, the course doesn't cut their fairways, so it's almost like short rough where the fairway should be. Also, the ground was in desperate need of water, and was rock hard. The course has some interesting holes, however it's only 5600 yards, so there are numerous 325 yd. par 4's. Might play again for cheap, but not for the rack rate.
Short but fun course
Very short course, some tricky holes. Staff is absolutely great. Greens very good. Fairways and rough not horrible, but not manicured like many of the nicer courses. Good course for laid back, fun round.
Enjoy
This course is fun and in good shape. Staff is very friendly. This course is one of my favorites on GolfNow
Love the course
Love to play Cardinal Hill. I live in Louisville, but the 45 minute drive to the course is well worth it. The course is a hidden gem with just the right traffic which makes playing that much more enjoyable.
A nice challenge
If you're looking for a nice laid back course with a challenge, this is the place. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Not a great course, but a lot of fun
I have played here a few times and it is a good course for the money. Some holes are challenging while others are up and down. The fairways are more like a well kept lawn rather than a nice fairway, but playable nonetheless. Staff is always very friendly...a family-run facility.
Great course for the money
For a scenic unrushed round of golf Cardinal Hills is the place for you. The up and down terrain is challenging but enjoyable, most of the greens were in great shape and the fairways were fair! The cart paths need work. The owners are wonderful people and make you feel right at home.
Will be back
Friendliest staff. Great people. Fun coarse with some challenging holes. Definitely will be back
