Nice Course for the $
Enjoyed the course except the pace of play was very slow. Greens and fairways were in very good shape. Interesting layout that is fun to play.
Need to hold off on watering every morning. It’s impossible to hit a wedge out of the fairway when they are soaking wet.
Kentucky visit
We were visiting the area and wanted to check out a course in Kentucky. We enjoyed the course until it rained and stopped us short of finishing. We took shelter in the clubhouse and wanted to let the rain pass. There were about 8 guys in the clubhouse, one with tats and throwing nasty stares at us. I didn't know golf was a banger or prison release game. We definitely felt unwanted or welcomed. We left in the rain. Will not return. I think this course is the good Ole boys club and they can keep it.
Great Staff, Great Value, Great Experience
The staff was very friendly and a pleasure to interact with. The course was fun and challenging.
Doe Valley
Staff and greens are great. Fairways are a little sparse this early in the Spring. Layout is a little rugged with a few blind shots. Be sure to pack a few extra balls.Wooded areas are plentiful as expected. Not crowded on most weekdays.
As manager of 19th hole I am quite shocked by this information. I make it a point to welcome everyone, especially those visiting our course from elsewhere. I sure wish I was made aware of it when it happened, I can just about guarantee it wasn’t any member of Doe Valley, I hope you come see us again and know this was absolutely an aberration and will never be acceptable here in Doe Valley.
