Heron Lakes Golf Club - Great Blue Course

Pace of play was surprisingly fast, and it was a cool summer day. Overall condition was good. A fun day

Great course. 100 degree day would of liked to of seen the drink cart person. Greens were very hard, which made approach shots very difficult. Enjoyed the course. Would play it again.

Really enjoy the Great Blue. Good layout, lots of water, challenging, but not so difficult it is not enjoyable.

The ONLY comment was pace of play. We were held up by group in front of us on every shot, no one in front of them and took 4 1/2 hours early morning tee time. I can only imagine how this slowed the rest of the day. We dew sweepers should be required to keep pace!

Perfect weather and the course was equally perfect. The fairway grass is like a carpet and the greens equally well cared for but well watered and slow. It was an overcast day so they were probably watered expecting the heat of past days. I’ll be back.

Over all a nice course to play.
Greens were in very good conditions. Bunkers a little wet. Fairways were beat up. Lots of open divots.
Staff was friendly.
Surroundings a bit noisy, as they where training at the racetrack.

I get the urge to let people relax. That is the point of playing after all. We should never be approaching a five hour round though.

My brother and I had fun playing this course.We teamed up with 2 other guys who were very friendly. Course was in excellent shape. Staff very friendly.
