Long time player hwre
It’s a beautiful layout and it’s a pretty course with all of the trees. But the greens were average. Lots of bare spots. Lots of hard pan, around the course. If you’re not in the rough or the fairway you’re in some pretty gnarly stuff.
Great potential but can’t overlook the problems.
The greens are absolutely awful. Otherwise good layout but everything is dated and needs serious maintenance and updating.
Late 9 holes
Started at 5pm finished at 7pm.
Great weather. moved quickly.
Nice friendly staff.
ok course
was cart path only, which was ok, greens were discolored but putts were rolling fine. They are starting to lose some of the greens . They should rope areas off that need work and fix them. a lot of deadpan areas.
Older Course With Great Worth
I have read many reviews about the conditions and the fact its cart path only, I will say people need to understand that this course is a great older course with a really tough layout , the reason the course is cart path only and the fact that the outer edges of a lot of fairways are bad is because over the years people have abused this course and they have trouble getting water to those areas. This course is a great course and it should be enjoyed for what it is and not for what you want it to be. Go play and stay on the fairways and you will have no issues here other than the challenge. Simple just a great older course worth playing. Oh Yah I have issues with my hips and knees and I Can Deal With It and You Should Be Able Too As Well.
Keep up the good work Pembroke CC Great Job
Power Carts
One reason why I don't play this course nearly as much as I used to is for some reason power carts must stay on cart-path-only for the entire course. See no reason - not wet conditions or any other viable reason. Would love to know why.
Conditions okay
Last year during the spring I played this course and absolutely loved it, conditions were amazing. This year, conditions were mediocre in comparison. Overall good but greens didn't look that great, lots of bare fareways in certain spots. Had to move my ball off rocks about 6 times during my round. Great course but needs a good amount of tlc
Good course but don’t carts not being allowed on fairways as little rain
Good course and value
Will look for course where carts are allowed next time
Don't sleep on CPC
Underrated course - Never backed up. Always beautiful conditions. Staff is super cool and willing to help
Great course
First time playing there and we all enjoy playing in the course, and we definitely will return when we are in town. Layout is great and conditions are great.
Good layout
I like this course, always felt that it was worth the money and I enjoy it every time I play. The course is currently very dry because of the weather. And a bit burnt out in places on the fairway, up around the collars of greens, and high traffic areas next to greenside bunkers. I don’t think that takes away from the experience too much, and would still recommend it to anyone above similarly priced courses I’ve played in the area.
